Response from the owner We thank you for your comments, we think rather unfair, the plumbing issue was resolved as quickly as possible, and you still had 2 other bathrooms and a separate toilet to use, your comments suggest we left you without a bathroom for 3 days. We responded immediately to the 1 broken patio light, it was fixed straight away, as soon as you told us the electrician went to the house. As for the tiny pool tiles this does happen occasionally that 1 or 2 become dislodged, it does not affect your use of the pool. If you had wanted us to replace them we would of had to empty the pool, let it dry the little tiles replaced left to dry for 24 hrs, this would mean you would not of been able to use the pool for a total of 5 days, am sure you would not of been happy with that solution. Often jobs were done while you were out as to not disturb you. To say that we did not keep appointments is not true everything was taken care. We always try to make our guests most welcome and spend as much time as possible when welcoming and departing, we are sorry that you felt we did not. I think the fact that you do not speak any other language than French may have been an issue for you ? We speak, Portuguese, English, Dutch, German and Flemmish. As for the dog situation that is life in Portugal, that is not going to change and not anything we are able to do anything about. Why you felt the kitchen was under equipped I have no idea, the things that you mention are all in the kitchen most of them brand new for this season plus a brand new coffee machine by Dolce Gusto which you can make tea or coffee with. Your review is very distressing for us.... we are a small company and do our utmost to ensure that our properties have everything that you would need and a friendly service, despite the fact that I am in the middle of treatment for cancer, myself and our team do a great job, and provide a 24 hr service, we have many very happy clients who return to us because of the service we provide and our properties.
