Quiet and cozy with morning sun on the ocean front balcony! If you are looking for the best ocean view on the island, up close and personal, and a quiet, peaceful setting, you have found it. In addition to year-round daily dolphin sightings, this year we have seen humpback whales, too, (December and January).

Renovated again in 2019, this top floor ocean-facing beach condo is suitable for a romantic getaway or for a small family beach vacation at an affordable rate. The best feature? A beautiful ocean view from a covered balcony to sit and watch the dolphins play.

This third floor (walk-up) at building 5 of Topsail Reef is a one bedroom air conditioned unit and includes a queen bed, mounted TV, bathroom with combo tub/shower, built in bunks for children or smaller people, and a well appointed kitchen, fridge with ice-maker, microwave, stove, coffee maker, toaster, blender, flatware, utensils, cookware suitable for simple meal preparation. The living room is equipped with a loveseat and chairs, 32" flat screen TV and DVD player. There is a small dinette with chairs, although if you are like us, you will prefer to dine on the balcony.

North Topsail Island is a quiet, family community with beautiful bluish green waters and uncrowded, unspoiled beaches, the perfect place for kicking back and enjoying nature. Enjoy nature walks that include open ocean on one side and marsh land with estuaries on the other. Though quietly tucked away from the beaten path, it's not far from shopping, dining, restaurants, a spa and a country club for those who want to play golf. Topsail is a sanctuary and boasts a turtle rehabilitation center in nearby Surf City. Wilmington is only 20 miles away for great sight seeing, restaurants, and shopping.

You only need to bring your own bed linens, towels and a bathing suit! There are coin operated laundry facilities on-site, as well as two grill areas, with tennis courts and basketball across the street.

**Please Note - recent beach erosion, there is sometimes limited beach for sunbathing DIRECTLY in front of the unit's sandbags for a FEW HOURS EACH DAY during high tide, however, beach is still very accessible with private access from building. Guests have not reported this to be a problem for them.

Was a difficult stay building under construction hammering and drilling from 8 to five each day. Work crew came and put up insulation in our condo. Pest control came and sprayed. Host was nice but … More

Response from the owner Darcy, I am so sorry for inconveniences you suffered as we recover from Hurricane Florence. Topsail Island suffered extensive damage last year and repairs are underway now and should be completed in the next two months. The eight building repair schedule has been difficult to pinpoint exactly which units are impacted and when, and has been subject to change (all being handled by my HOA), which is why prior to your visit I made you aware of this possibility with an option to cancel or reschedule at no penalty. Nonetheless, it's important to me that my guests leave happy and I'd like to invite you back to experience a better stay once the renovation is over. Under normal circumstances, Topsail truly is magical.

“Great time at the beach!”

Loved being right on the beach. Wish we had more comfortable furniture though. The condo did not have enough room for four people.

Most of our bookings are for two guests, although the unit does have hallway bunks ideal for kids or smaller folks. For reasons you described we try to steer parties of four to a larger unit, however we were unaware that you HAD four in your party, as your booking stated two. In any event, we are glad that overall you enjoyed your stay and if we can accommodate you in the future, please get in touch. Thanks again!
