Description

This is a beautifully decorated 2 bedroom home, nestled in a quiet cove, with a view of Apple Valley Lake. The decor is rustic, with lovely wood floors, and Amish built furniture. This property can sleep 6. Both bedrooms have Queen Sized beds. There is also a new 22" high Queen Sized air mattress with a built in pump. The larger bedroom has direct access to the main deck. Amish made rustic furniture is in both bedrooms. The house is not air conditioned, however, there are ceiling fans in the great room and both bedrooms. There are also tear-away screens on the front and back sliders, and the cross breeze is fantastic. The house backs up to woods, so no houses are visible behind it. It sits on top of the hill facing Apple Valley Lake. The lake view from the deck is lovely. The kitchen features a French door refrigerator with filtered water and ice. There are also condiments for guest use, as well as seasonings. Foil and plastic wrap are provided. The lower (entrance) level features a game room with a pool table and a built in 24-bottle wine cooler. There are also 2 full baths. The bath on the lower floor (with the game room) has a shower, and the main bath, upstairs, has a tub and shower. Both bathrooms include wall-mounted Shampoo, Conditioner, and Shower Gel dispensers, including Luxury Aveda Rosemary Mint Shampoo and Conditioner, and Bath and Body Works Shower Gel. There is a washer and dryer on the lower level. Laundry detergent pods and dryer sheets are provided for guest use.

The main (upper) floor has a deck the entire width of the house, with 3 entrances to it (living room, center hall door, and bedroom). There is a pergola with a patio table with 4 padded chairs, as well as other seating on the main deck. The main floor also has a deck off the back, with 2 lounge chairs and a Weber propane grill. CAUTION: The interior stairway is steep, so this property would not accommodate disabled people or small children. The property is not child-proofed, so children under the age of 10 will not be permitted. There is absolutely No Smoking on the property. There is also a No Pets policy with the rental of this property.

Concierge Service is available. We can have your groceries, beverages, and liquor waiting for you for a 25% service charge. Delivery of beer and wine, as well as many other items is available from ON THE RUN DRIVE-THRU, for a $5.00 delivery charge. This home is located 7 miles from Kenyon College, and 10 miles from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. It is only 18 miles from Mohican State Park and Loudonville. It is in the heart of Amish country (approximately a 40 minute drive to Charm and Berlin, in Holmes County), and close to a wonderful golf course, Apple Valley Golf Course. This property has not been child-proofed, therefore, children under 10 years of age will not be permitted. This is also for the safety of all guests, as the steps are steep. Apple Valley facilities (Lake, Beaches, Pools, and Campground) are only to be used by Apple Valley Property Owners. Non-Owners will not be permitted to use the facilities provided for permanent residents of Apple Valley.
