Marina View is an inviting ground floor property that lives up to its name, while offering comfort and style for up to four lucky guests. You will be delighted when looking out the windows across the manicured gardens to the inner marina; filled with yachts and motor boats, rising and falling gently on the emerald Cornish waters. The town of Falmouth and everything it offers is just a few minutes’ walk away, and there are plenty of creature comforts within the property itself help you relax and unwind during your stay.
The living room has a large corner sofa and separate comfortable chair provides plenty of rest for legs tired after a hard day of exploring, shopping, or playing. There’s always something to look at as well; the large bay windows offer vistas of the beautifully maintained greenery outside, while the 40 inch flatscreen TV provides an array of entertainment opportunities. There is also an electric fireplace in this room to keep you warm should the nights grow cooler.
Separate from the lounge you’ll find a spacious kitchen dining area, complete with all the mod cons you’d expect, and ample room to enjoy them. Self-catering has never been easier than in a brand-new kitchen such as this, which features an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and even a washing machine. There is a large breakfast bar and an ample dining table with enough chairs for you all.
The master bedroom features a super king-size bed, making lie ins a must! This room also benefits from ample storage in the form of a large built-in wardrobe, twin bedside tables, and dresser with a large mirror. The windows look out onto the garden area, so you can enjoy some fresh Cornish air and relax in a wonderfully calming atmosphere.
The second bedroom is flexible. Couples, or another single guest, can enjoy a second super king-size bed. If you’re staying with two children or friends, this bed can be converted into comfortable twin singles. Two bedside tables and a chest of drawers give you plenty of space to store your things. There’s also a large mirror - handy when you’re applying sun cream before heading out to the beach!
The family bathroom has a clean and contemporary feel. The soft decor and large bath make this a perfect room for relaxing in at the end of a busy day. A separate large shower cubicle allows you to freshen up in the mornings, or in the middle of a hot summer’s day, and quickly get back to enjoying yourself. There’s also a WC and basin, and a heated towel rail to add a little extra touch of luxury to your daily routine.
Outside the property you’ll find a private terraced area, complete with table and chairs. It’s the perfect place for a refreshing drink, or full on alfresco dining. The marina complex itself offers plenty of sights to enjoy, including the communal gardens. If you’re looking to expend some energy, there’s even a tennis court on site.
And should you get bored of all this, you’ll find the town of Falmouth virtually on your doorstep. Packed with shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, takeaways, and attractions, there’s a lot on offer to fill your days. And it’s easy to get further afield as well, with regular trains and buses deeper into Cornwall. For something a little more unusual, you can take the ferry to Truro or across to St Mawes.
