MISTLETOE MANOR is a charming vacation home welcoming visitors a place to call home during their stay in our beautiful Lake Almanor area. Nestled in quaint old town Chester, it is walking distance to the lake, Feather River, the café, park and library/museum. And with 4 suites available, you can house 15 people for a perfect family vacation or a quick visit to the mountains.

Rates start with a 2 person occupancy, making it affordable for even the smallest parties. For every 2 additional adults we open up another suite, (keeping the unused suites locked and clean). But no matter how small or large your group, the house is for your private use.

Amazing OFF-SEASON specials (Mid Sept thru Mid May):

Start by renting one suite and enjoy having the comfort of a house for $180/night (2 guest occupancy, 2 night minimum). Invite friends and family and pay just $25/night per extra person and we will open up the Brooke View, Sierra, Savannah and/or the Manor Suites (up to their occupancy).

SUMMER SEASON (Mid May thru mid Sept):

Don't bother with week long vacation rentals. Take advantage of our flexible calendar even during the summer months. Book the whole house For just $235/night (2 guest occupancy, 2 night minimum). But no matter how many guests you invite, the house is for your private use. Just pay $25/night per extra guest which can make for a fabulous vacation with lots of family.

ALL SUITES include complimentary Netflix on a HD TV and have free WiFi access, (Netflix is our only TV service). Take advantage of the full size kitchen including the two full size refrigerators/freezers, and free use of laundry. Relax in the cozy Gathering Room by a fire, (firewood included), or sip tea while watching the sun rise in the Front Room. Pic-nic in the lush green front yard during the sunny months, or enjoy building snowman during winter in the back yard. It's all up to you!

The Manor Suites includes a queen bed and two trundles (two twin beds) for kids, a bathroom and a separate shower/dressing room. Relax in the living room area with its plush couch and chair (5-6 guest occupancy).

The Brooke View is a downstairs suite with a queen bed, a high back chair and an armoire in early American Décor. The attached full bath includes a separate changing room with vanity. (2 guest occupancy).

The Sierra Suite has a comfy King bed, lots of closet space, a cute vanity and a sitting area. (2-3 guest occupancy). The 3/4 bathroom is in hallway and shared with Savannah Suite. A double bed can be moved from Manor Suite if requested.

The Savannah Suite is a cute space with 2 queen beds separated by a couch and a twin tucked away in a separate small room. (5 guest occupancy).

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Jim (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
