In a quiet enviroment with enjoying view, close to numerous natural and historical sites , this accommodation offers an unique experience of staying below the walls of the ancient fortress of Klis. Placed in a strategic position, it's an ideal base and starting place for exploring the sorrounding area. 4 km from the entrance to highway,20 km from the airport, 10 km from the centre of Split, the ferry port for the islands and just 10km from the closest beach fervid with night life.
Apartment Trio 2 is a new renovated apartment that is first time rented from summer 2016. Apartment consists two bedrooms, one with double bed and one single bed, second with three single beds and in the living room is sofa wich can be also a bed for two. Everything in apartment is new and never used before.
You will enjoy in one of the best views on the town of Split.
Comfortable accommodation in the new apartments that are equipped with air conditioning, necessary kitchen appliances, washing machine and parking place in front of the accommodation.
With a magnificent view of the ancient city Split and almost all of central Dalmatian archipelago „Trio apartments“ is comfortable and practical solution for accommodation in a quiet place. In a quiet environment with a resting area with enjoying view, nature and historic surroundings this accommodation offers a unique experience of staying below the walls of the ancient fortress of the old town of Klis, which in the 9th century were the seat of Croatian kings and the Croatian capital. Nearby is the parish church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This church is mentioned for the first time in historical documents in the 14th century as a place where it was signed various peace agreements and the place where Croatian and Bosnian ruler got married. Motive of Klis dramatic history time can be found on the frescoes of a Croatian artist Vjekoslav Parać who immortalized the brave Croatian army Uskoks who were defending the fortress from Ottomans siege that lasted for many years. In unique setting of the fortress Klis on the last weekend in July the whole place immersed in history. The historical unit Kliški uskoci together with many friends costumed in uniforms with swords and guns designed for visitors a historical reconstruction of the glorious era of Klis dating back in 16th century. With this unique occasion there is a fair of traditional crafts, trades and original Mediterranean gastro offer. This is an unavoidable treat for all who loves history the place where it is possible to try fencing or archery guided by trained people.
Fortress Klis in addition to offer on their magical lookouts of unique sunset over the sea gives the possibility of visiting the location a Game of Thrones this place was a perfect filming location for Danaerys´s stronghold, looking down upon the scenery from the top of the hill it feels the sheer power of mighty Targaryens.
Markezina Greda is located in the mountain pass that linked the Dalmatian hinterland with the coast and that separated the mountain Kozjak and Mosor it is a hot spot for all styles of climbing and bas jumpers with a jumping ramp.
This is an ideal place to enjoy hiking or cycling along marked trails through Klis fields and centuries old olive groves. Klis is surrounded by numerous hiking trails and other adventure in nearby distance.
You can experience rafting on the Cetina River (distance 30 km) or town Sinj (24 km) where there is a museum of the famous Knights Tournament of Alka that Tournament is held every year in August since 1715., nearby is one of the best paragliding airfields in Croatia or a visit to Vranjača cave near Dugopolje (7 km) due to the richness of stalactites and stalagmites it is one of the most beautiful caves to visit in Dalmatia in Šibenik (60km) you can experience adventure 45 meter bungee jumping.
Klis is located in the centre of the central region of Dalmatia and as such is an ideal base and starting place for daily trips and research surrounding area 4 km from the entrance to highway, 20 km from Split airport, 10 km from the UNESCO centre of Split and ferry port for the islands, 5 -10 km from the beaches, 28 km from the UNESCO town of Trogir, 80 km from the magnificent waterfalls of Krka National park.
For guests without their own car we will provide transportation to the desired location at any time of the day or return from a night out in the nearby Split, which provides opportunities for good night life.
