This wonderful beach retreat located just one house off the ocean was recently remodeled from head to toe and offers everything you possibly need for a comfortable and fun vacation by the beach.
The 3 bed/3 bath upper unit vacation home offers everything you possibly need for the ultimate beach getaway:
- whitewater views from all levels
- 25 steps to the sand
- one of few units by the beach with A/C
- roomy 2 car, side-by-side garage (large enough for a minivan, or large SUV, plus a small sedan. Garage size is 7' high; 18' deep; 15'9 wide.
- enhanced privacy of being one house off the boardwalk in Mission Beach
- wraparound deck off 3rd floor bedroom with outdoor seating and BBQ
-lots of beach toys and kids equipment such as pack n play, high chair etc.
It's location could not be better: situated in the heart of North Mission Beach, just steps to boardwalk and the sand - no roads or alley to cross!
You enter the freshly remodeled upper unit on the 2nd floor. Living room features a new sofa-sleeper, mounted LCD TV, and spectacular views of the beach and boardwalk. You can people watch from the comfort of your couch!
Off the living room is a master suite with king size bed, vaulted ceiling and private bathroom. Off of the newly remodeled kitchen is a full size washer/dryer, bathroom and second bedroom with bunk beds (full and twin). Go up the stairs to the third bedroom which is also a master suite with a queen bed and private bathroom, perfect for a couple looking for early morning views and late night stargazing. Through French doors is a very large deck, with table, chairs and BBQ. While it's beautiful to wake up to this incredible view, the deck is big enough to accommodate the whole group for a nice gathering to watch the sunset or enjoy a meal from the grill with an afternoon BBQ. With views stretching north to La Jolla, south to Point Loma and east over Mission Bay, this is the perfect place to enjoy watching a pod of dolphins, a beautiful ocean breeze and the Sea World fireworks show each night!
The property has AC and is well stocked with everything you could possibly need - plenty of towels, dinnerware, glasses, and cooking utensils, just like home. Property also has high speed internet and cable television.
You will love the convenience of the keyless-code locks so you don't need to worry about keys!
Hang out in the lap of comfort at Tangiers, or hit the town and enjoy the nearby:
- Water-sports - SUP, kayaking and sailing on Sail Bay across the street;
- Boogie boarding, surfing and sunsets just outside your door to the west;
- Sunrise and quiet strolls around Mission Bay;
- Coffee houses, shopping, restaurants, craft beer eateries, and nightlife are all a walk away;
- Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo are 15-20 away;
- Sea World is a 5 minute drive and Belmont Park is one mile south;
- Brilliant coastal hikes and tide-pooling are a few miles to the north and south;
- There are miles of boardwalk for biking, running, walking and skating.

This property offers 2 separate units. You may rent either the "upper" or "lower" unit by itself, or rent both units and use all 6 bedrooms for a family reunion, or group travel. Please call or email for details.
MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT FOR FRIEND GROUPS:
For friend groups we require everyone in the group to be over the age of 30 and could not agree to more than 6 people total (incl. visitors).
Once we received your request to book, we will email you a rental agreement for electronic signature. Once it's been filled out/signed by you and agreed to by us, we will then charge your credit card and confirm your booking. No money will be held or charged from us until you signed the rental agreement.
Cancellation policy: 25% of the room rate will be due upon reservation (once rental agreement has been signed). The remaining balance will be due 30 days prior arrival. Once paid these amounts are non-refundable. You do have the option to purchase travel insurance. We will send all details once your booking is confirmed.
