Comfortably Numb is an ocean front apartment with beautiful soothing views of the Caribbean Sea 5 miles from the Belize Barrier Reef. We offer a unique Eco Chic experience in a totally off-grid location, locally known as South Point. We are the last house on the golf cart path and 10-15 minute bike ride from the village for the restaurants and bars but away from the crowds when you're ready to relax. South Point is a nature lovers paradise,popular to the "Birders" all our neighbors are solar power and rainwater catchment dependent. We offer a quiet boutique experience in a comfortable homey laid-back setting

Response from the owner Claudia, I was surprised when I saw that you subtracted 2 stars, but I feel you reviewed Caye Caulker Island itself more so than our rental apartment. I agree that the sea weed sargassum problem is awful, and it is affecting every island in the Caribbean, and Government must do something about it, but it also appears to be cyclic, as of today December 15/2018 there is none! That's not to say it won't be back, but it's out of my control. I do apologize for the rusty bikes, we live on the sea and rust is a part of life here, and causes continual maintenance. 2 of those bikes are less than 2 years old believe it or not. Why can't I call Cindy (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I make changes to my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Cindy (the owner) a message.

If Cindy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
