Emerald Ridge offers two options of stylish, private accommodation set on a

10 acre hobby farm in the Victorian Dandenong Ranges only one hour east of Melbourne.

A fully equipped self-contained 2 Bedroom Cottage with open plan living and neutral decor. It consists of 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with double shower, laundry, fully equipped kitchen, meals and living room with a cosy gas log fire OR a Private Guest Room with lounge and large ensuite with spa.

Indulge in a romantic weekend away, a game of golf, shopping or browse the local markets. Dine at local restaurants (Oh My, The Independent, Elevation, Paradise Valley Hotel, Wild Oak) cafes (The General Food Store, Zest, Emerald Bakery, Piggery Cafe) visit wineries or for the fit walk the famous 1000 stairs. Ride the world famous Puffing Billy or do a spot of fishing at the local trout farm. We are also happy to accommodate brides or Grooms in preparation for their big day.

The Cottage has a comfortable main bedroom, inviting Queen size bed while the second bedroom consists of a Queen bed. Two additional single beds are able to be set up if required. All fitted with 100% cotton quality crisp white sheets. The bathroom is large and modern with double vanity, double shower and heated towel rail. An alcove within the bathroom houses a washing machine, Laundry trough, ironing board, etc for your use.

The Kitchen is fully equipped with stone benchtops, cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher and dinning table. All set for relaxed self-catering.

The cozy Lounge area offers a warm gas flame log fire, flat screen TV, books, magazines, games and music.

Sliding Doors from both bedrooms open out onto a rear deck which accommodates an outdoor setting and a BBQ. inviting you to sit, relax and absorb the stunning view of the country side, animals grazing and the Valley.

The Private guest room offers a King size bed also fitted with 100% cotton quality sheets. The large lounge area has 2 inviting wingback armchairs, coffee table and large flat screen TV. A kitchenette includes coffee pod machine, kettle, toaster & bar fridge. There is a small dining table with 2 chairs to use for dining. The extra large ensuite offers two heated towel rails, double vanity, spa bath, double shower and separate toilet.

French doors open out onto verandahs which overlook garden, orchard, a water feature and the ambiance of our rural property.

All stays include a breakfast hamper (continental in Guest Room) which consist of fruit, cereal, yoghurt, bread, bacon and free range eggs. (Optional) Espresso Pod Coffee and a range of Tea’s are also available.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I make changes to my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Rebecca (the owner) a message.

If Rebecca (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
