Set among the sprawling hills of Santa Maria Estate in the exclusive location of Mellieha, this four-bedroom, brand new, contemporary villa is the latest addition to Shortletsmalta’s ever-growing repertoire. Always keen on broadening their horizons and breaking all boundaries of limitation, the directors of Shortletsmalta Ltd embarked on an ambitious project – a goal to create a luxury property in one of Malta’s most opulent neighbourhoods.

This villa features cutting-edge design, including a mixture of clean, crisp lines, minimalist décor, and prestigious materials, which combine to produce a natural flow between the outdoor and indoor areas of the property. The majestic, flexuous staircase leads to the main door of the property, located on the ground floor. Here the ground floor was transformed into a space fit for repose, a true relaxation haven. Large glass doors blur the lines between outside and inside, inviting those indoors to the breath-taking pool deck. The pool itself beckons you to take a dip, boasting a Zen-like water feature and awe-inducing infinity edges, making you feel like you are truly on top of the world. Tranquillity reigns once you dip in the pool and the spectacular view tops that up; the entire valley opens up beneath you, and the twinkling Mediterranean can be seen undulating in the distance. The sun-drenched deck offers al fresco dining facilities, as well as sun loungers which enable you to fully relax with the impressive view of the valley and the sea as your back drop.

The ground floor itself is made up of a large open plan kitchen, dining and living area. These areas combine harmoniously to provide a peaceful ambience; natural colours mimic the agrarian surroundings of the valley, while also providing a calm setting for the eyes. The dining and living areas lead to the state of the art kitchen, which is equipped with all cutlery and crockery. Also a full family bathroom is located on this floor complete with shower cubicle. Moreover, 2 back doors lead to the harmonious spa area complemented with jacuzzi, heated pool and sauna, together with a billiard table for those who are a relaxing game.

The lower floors house the three bedroom and adjoining bathrooms, set apart from the rest of the Villa to provide the tranquillity needed for a good night’s rest. One of the double bedrooms comes with an en-suite bathrooms with shower. The other 2 bedrooms consist of 3 single beds per room with another family bathroom on the same floor consisting of both shower and bath tub. Both double bedrooms enjoy a terrace of their own, equipped with outdoor furniture overflowing over the evergreen lawn. These create a personal oasis of serenity, where one can enjoy the fresh air of the morning, or the still, quiet air of the Maltese night. All bedrooms are fully air-conditioned, and free Wifi is offered throughout the property.

This Villa encompasses all necessary factors to ensure a serene and restful escape for anyone residing in it. Set apart from the hustle and bustle of city life, nestled in the midst of the Mellieha countryside, this property truly feels like an oasis of calmness amidst the hectic lifestyle of today. Payment is all to be done all in advance to the website. After 24hrs from the tenants physical check in the funds will be then transferred to us.

A refundable breakage deposit of 700euro is to be paid to the website and refunded again by the website.

Also please note that the price being paid for the property includes basic utilities:

- for 4 bedroom- 300KWh

free per week with the apartment which is more than sufficient for a weekly stay. However if the inclusive amount of KWh will be exceeded, an extra charge will apply at a rate of 0. 35c per KWh. Other than that there are no other hidden expenses or charges.

Cleaning of the property prior the arrival and after departure is included in the price. Any extra cleaning during accommodation will incur extra charges. Two sets of towels per person and one set of linen per bed is also provided by us, then it is up to one's discrepancy to wash them as much often as desired.​Monthly rate it is also available, please ask for quote.

Also please do note the utilities are NOT included on a monthly rate but paid for as much as one consumes.Long lets also available rates upon request from owner.Apartment also available for long term booking of 6months or even longer please ask for quote.

Please note that the rental price does not include the Environmental Contribution tax, introduced on June 2016 amounting to €0.50c per night

We will meet you on your arrival and we'll be happy to give you tips for making your holiday an unforgettable experience. We can also organise airport transfers. Access to all the area of the villa. The whole villa will be rented and the property is private and not shared with any other tenants. A Bus Stop is close by, only a few meters away from the apartment. No car is necessary, the apartment is walking distance to any amenity. For those of you opting to rent a car, the villa has its own private parking.

Looking at pictures and videos of this before we booked we thought it may be too good to be true. We were wrong this villa is absolutely stunning and views are amazing. Place was spotless , very spacious and offered good good privacy. The hostess Victoria could not have been better. The check in was smooth and she really looked after us. Always great contact when needed. We had the best trip malta is amazing and the villa just made the trip. Close to bars and shops just at top of hill. Booking and communication with Ralph prior to holiday was easy and they could not accommodate us more. Airport pickup booked by host also. Best Villa we had all ever stayed in. We will be back

Absolutely stunning villa and views, clean, comfortable and good privacy. Friendly and attentive hostess. Herself and the maintenance team looked after our needs well. Booking and communication prior to holiday was easy and friendly too. Very happy to have our airport pickup booked by host too. No worries for us on arrival, not a single thing to complain about the whole week. Would definitely love to come back again!

We just spent 3 weeks in Malta! What a wonderful island with so much history! My review is more about the leasing company an the villa! We dealt with a reputable high end realtor to help us find our villa. We paid a large commission to ensure that none of those nightmare rental stories you read about happened to us. Big mistake! After 22+ hrs of travel we get to the villa AND IT’S THE WRONG VILLA! After years, phone calls and finger pointing it was evident that our “reputable” realtor dropped the ball and mixed us up with another client. Here comes my 5 star review... Alison and everyone at Shortlets felt so bad. Though they were unable to relocate us they went above and beyond to help us make our stay in Malta wonderful! I agree with some of the previous reviews, the villa could use some repairs and updates but Alison and the staff saw to all our needs whenever we called. Everyone we came in contact with was pleasant, prompt and professional! This company has many homes on the island! If/when we return to Malta we will definitely deal with them directly! Alison turned what could have been a disaster into a fabulous holiday!

“Probably the best villa on the island”

The villa complex is modern and beyond regular Maltese standards. Don't expect the golden faucets and silk bedsheets, but you are not going to find it anywhere in Malta. The villa does its job perfectly well - you will find all imaginable facilities to keep yourself entertained in the evening, and enjoy the infinity pool on a spacious terrace with beautiful views over the quiet Mellieha valley.

a lovely villa , spacious bedrooms , lovely pool area with limited sea view in a quiet area but hilly. one thing it needs is a tv in the games room so other different aged guests can have a program to watch if need be..needs a little touching up on paint work mainly stairs.. and a good cobwebbing dust down inbetween wall and wardrobe in main bedroom. saying that we all had a lovely week.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Gaia, pool and sauna in the villa were fantastic, shame the weather wasn’t a bit warmer for us to use the outdoor pool. Victoria was fantastic and made us feel very welcome, we would definitely love to go back!
