Description
You can rest, and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city in this comfortable, private home. _____________ To get to Manhattan: MetroNorth train (25 min), subway #2 and #5 (50 min), driving by car (30 min). Very close to major highways by car. _____________ You will have the entire first floor of a 3-floor building. Your unit is separate from the other floors. You can also use the entire backyard as a place to relax. You may access the basement only to use the washer/dryer. _____________ I will not be present so you have your privacy. However, I am always easily reachable by cell phone and email, and will be within 30-minutes driving distance during your stay so I can come over if you need me in person. _____________The local Fleetwood neighborhood has various charming restaurants and shops. The house is within walking distance to the post office, Metro North train station, grocery stores, drug stores, restaurants, etc. _____________ A bit further away is a casino, Empire Casino in Yonkers, just ten minutes driving distance away from my home. _____________ We are near Bronxville, Pelham, New Rochelle, Yonkers, White Plains, Scarsdale, Mamaroneck, Dobbs Ferry and The Bronx. We are also in close proximity to Concordia College, Sara Lawrence College, and Iona College. Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, Mt. Vernon Hospital are a merely 10 minute drive, and Lawrence Hospital is 7 minutes (2.5 miles) _____________ You can park your car in our driveway. You can walk 15 minutes to get to the Metro North train station (or drive 5 minutes) and the train, which runs many times each day, will get you into the center of Manhattan (Grand Central Terminal). There are also local buses within 2 minutes walking distance. New York subway #2, #5 is also in 10 minutes driving distance from my home, also free street parking available around both stations. _____________ Sleeping areas are a master bedroom with a queen-size bed (2 people); a guest room with a twin bed (1 person); a comfortable full-size air mattress for the study room or the living room(2 people); and for any additional people, we will provide sleeping bags (the kids will love it!)
