Description
Villa Marina is a large but cosy villa, situated in the traditional village of Kathikas. Its a great location for those who
want more than just the tourist package. A chance to mingle with the locals and join them for a cyprus coffee,a
game of backgammon at the local coffee shops. The villa is situated in the centre of the village, it takes just a few
minutes walk to get to three local taverns, a pub, two coffee shops, the bank and a little grocery store. It takes just 5 minutes
drive to visit two of the local wineries. Where wine tasters are most welcome.
The villa boasts a private pool, with a lovely mature garden, 2 air conditioning units with no extra charge. Also an
entertainment area with a bar, table tennis, darts and pool table. Plus a BBQ area is available. The property has
been used as a venue for a couple of weddings. Our home is great for large families, who want a change from
the daily routine. It's really a spacious home where everyone can have some privacy.
It takes just 15 minutes drive to reach the famous Coral Bay beach or Latchi, where you can experience the
welcoming warm Mediterranean waters. Central heating is available for the cold winter months but with an extra charge.
Any guests visiting in September are welcome to spend the day picking grapes along side the locals, at one of the village grape
orchards. Guests visiting in October can join the owner of villa Marina pick olives a few km from Kathikas. After any of the two
activities guest can enjoy a picnic basket provided by the owner, once all the hard work is done of course!
