Description
Villa Arohanui is Kiwi/NZ owned. Arohanui (pronounced Arr Roar Ha Nu E) is a Maori word meaning "lots of love". Aroha = Love, Nui = lots of/big.
Located in Legian, one of Bali's preferred tourist spots, Villa Arohanui is private, peaceful & safe within a wall compound and 2 private entrance ways.
The Villa has 2 very spacious bedrooms with ensuites, open plan indoor/outdoor living/entertainment area, modern kitchen and seperate bathroom. The outdoor area is an elegant design offering views of a stunning 7.5m X 3m large deep swimming pool which gets full day sunshine and views of lovely gardens whilst surrounded by bean bags, sun loungers and couches to relax, read and bath on.
We are in very close proximity to Legian/Kuta/Seminyak beaches where the sunsets are spectacular. Central to great local Warungs and established Western cafe/restaurants, very close to both Western and local Bali supermarkets, fresh fruit & vege markets, chemists (Apotek), Medical Centre, trusted bank Money changers and ATM's and excellent shopping along Padma/Legian Rd/Double Six (Jalan Arjuna) and Jalan Nakula.
Situated between Legian Rd and Sunset Rd we are approx 20 mins from the Ngarauh Rai Airport and Jimbaren. Sanur/Nusa Dua are approx 40 mins and an approx 1.5 hours drive in either direction will get you to Ubud/Uluwatu/Padang Padang/Kitamani and the Heritage Rice Paddies of Bali.
We absolutely love Bali, it's people, culture, language, rituals, local food and everything that beautiful Bali has to offer. It is with "lots of love" that we hope you enjoy your stay at Villa Arohanui so we can share our Bali Paradise.

Response from the owner We are very sorry you felt like this at our Villa and thank you for your feedback. In over 20 years of visiting Bali we have personally never experienced Dengue Fever and at our Villa in particularly we have not encountered a lot of mozzies, in fact we have more issues in NZ than there. The LED lights and recessed ceilings are designed to attract any Mozzies upwards and the fans in the outdoor and indoor lounge area keep any away as they don’t like wind. We have noticed this working excellently. A lot of Balinese Villa’s have outdoor bathrooms and this is a huge feature for most, our guests love this and see it as an awesome feature. I am only 4”11 and have never had any issues with getting in or out of the pool, the step around the inside is to sit on and read and get in and out of. Our grandchildren also don’t have a problem and we make it very aware to guests with children that they are to be supervised at all times particularly as most Bali Pools are not fenced. (We do hire fences in on request). As people’s personal needs are different and theft of Villa/Hotel belongings also occur in Bali we decided not to put hair dryers and accessories in the bathroom, however we have since put a hair dryer and hair straightener in the Villa as you requested so people can alleviate the extra luggage space woes. The “smell” was not from our Villa and we have spoken to our neighbor since to rectify this problem but if you had highlighted that to us at the time we could have done it instantly. We are sorry our Villa did not meet your personal needs, perhaps Villa’s may not be for you and Bali Hotels are more suited. We do hope your Bali Holiday however was as relaxing as you had intended.
