Sava View 8 is comfortable, well equipped and spacious apartment in an alpine building in a tranquil and beautiful position in the village of Bodesce, just a few kilometres from world famous Lake Bled. The apartment has a wonderful balcony with views over the Sava river valley, Triglav mountain and the Julian Alps beyond. Bled and its many facilities and attractions are just a few minutes drive away (3km) and in the other direction is the charming medieval town of Radovljica. The apartment sleeps 4-5.

“Slovenia, the first but not the last time!”
We enjoyed our 2 week stay in this lovely 3 bedroomed apartment.The accomodation is well looked after, offers plenty of room and is well furnished. The facilities allow relaxed living and all you need for a quiet night in after a great day walking, kitchen, television, DVD et al. It was lovely to be in a rural setting, but not isolated, with local Slovenian people as neighbours. We had many enjoyable days: walking up the forested hillside to the cafe with fantastic views, walking to Bled although we drove most days! Hiring bikes in Bled (great value), enjoying the countrside in the open is both enjoyable and invigorating. Walk or cycle by the clear rivers where locals are fishing for trout. Bled is both nearby and beautiful. Take a relaxing walk round the lake, visit the church by boat, enjoy afternoon tea on the waterfront, and pick from any number of eateries which offer variety but also excellent food and great value across the board. We drove the Julian Alps and returned on the train, fantastic. This apartment is in a lovely setting, has excellent views and is well placed to support a great holiday. You can even fit ina short break in Croatia as well! Slovenia offers great value but is also very clean and tidy, and absolutely beautiful. I would recommend to anyone with one proviso, give the Starsky and Hutch DVD a miss, absolutely awful!
