Description

A beautiful, well-restored old country house-styled home in the Northern part of Helsinki. Peaceful and nice surroundings, with only 15 min from the airport. A large open veranda with grill, and a garden. Upright piano, fully-equipped kitchen, sauna.

Family-friendly are with a next-door park with animals in the summer time. Playground, football pitch, etc. Super calm, but close to services.

You could park your car in the yard. There's a but stop just around the corner, several buses stop there, that you can take either to the city center or the other way (Vantaa-Tikkurila) and also to the airport. Taxi from the airport costs only around 20-23 € and takes usually less than 15 minutes.

I can be reached by email and texts and also phone (preferably only in urgent matters), and if I'm not in town, there will be someone in the neighbourhood who will be there to assist you. Don't be afraid of asking for help if you need! For us it is important to know that your stay is going well and that the house is fine and fully functioning. Also - as you are staying in our home with our belongings there, it is vital that there is a mutual trust between us. Therefore we would like to stay in touch with you by Whatsapp, SMS or similar, during your stay.

House rules

Most of all we would like to stay in touch with our guests. The communication between us helps to prevent any possible misunderstandings.

Small pets allowed if they are tidy. No parties allowed, but between close friends and family it is fine as long as you respect our home and this property. We would like to kindly ask you to use common sense and to not to do anything you would not do in your own house. Thank you for your respect!

Our stay in this house was just like staying at home. Just 1 minute to bus stop and 5 minutes to the railway. Pekka ,the owner are very helpful. My family enjoyed the stay in this house very much.

I'm still sorry that (while we were abroad at the time of their stay), I did not manage to send them instructions as for maneuvering the sauna, although I did try it (by asking our house caretaker come by, but he was unable to do it..). However, I'm glad they were happy about their stay in any case!
