Description
Nestled on a quiet hill near the main road, highway 199 and outside the adult community of Horizon Village. Sheri's Cottage is the ideal getaway to be comfortably alone and yet near the city. A STUNNING setting and great walking; It is a few minute drive to the Rouge River, Asante hospital, restaurants, markets, Southgate MOVIE theaters, several small parks, RIVERSIDE Park that hosts events and FREE outdoor concerts on the ROGUE RIVER, Walgreens, YMCA, Josephine Fairgrounds featuring HORSE RACING in the Spring. 5 minute drive to I-5, highways 99 and 238 , downtown Grants Pass, and hospitals (Asante and Three Rivers).
HOUSE... was built in 2006 and beautifully maintained, It is 1200 sq.ft. with VAULTED ceilings, new carpets, CENTRAL AIR AND HEAT, and beautifully furnished and decorated.. Wheelchair accessible, and handicap features in the bathrooms.. SENIOR FRIENDLY
KITCHEN.... is completely outfitted with the best dishes, glassware, cutlery, dishes, pots and pans, coffee maker etc.. and has wonderful cabinets with turntables and sliding drawers, including a pantry. Lots of counter space! There is a built-in Kenmore dishwasher, Kenmore electric stove and oven, Kenmore refrigerator w/ ice maker, A terrific SKYLIGHT and a small kitchen window that completes the light and airy feel of the area.
DINING AREA.. is off the kitchen and opens to the nicely decorated LIVING ROOM with lots of large windows ( one is a BAY with a bench seat.) VAULTED CEILING, lovely gas fireplace , also there is 55" Smart TV with Basic Cable, ,DVR (upgrades available) , Internet and WIFI . There is a plush sofa ,a new Lazy Boy electric recliner, end tables and floor lamps ;Also a CEILING FAN great for warm summer nights.
The MASTER BEDROOM is spacious with a NEW Calif. KING "BeautyRest" mattress and wonderful wood bed frame, end tables and lamps. Luxurious designer bed sheets , and duvet., 2 dressers will give you lots of additional storage for clothes, There is also an extra TV, chair and floor lamp for reading by the window; there is a large walk-in closet . And ceiling fan!
MASTER BATH.... spacious with a stall shower, lots of built-in cabinets and a single sink, ceiling heater and skylight that adds light and airiness to the room. Martha Stewart whimsical towels and nicely decorated.
GUEST BEDROOM... has a Full -size bed, wonderful furnishings , designer bed linens and duvet .Folding door wardrobe closet, plush chair , floor lamp for reading in a wonderful serene room. There is a small desk w/ drawers , Ceiling fan, and a sliding glass door that opens to a small private yard with a patio table and chairs.
GUEST BATHROOM....There is a Kenmore FULL SIZE clothes washer and dryer located in the guest bathroom which has a shower /tub with new shower heads, Ceiling heater, single sink and lots of built-in cabinets, and luxurious whimsical Martha Stewart towels
There is a door off the kitchen that opens to the SINGLE CAR GARAGE There is an automatic garage door opener , also electrical outlets for car charging .
There is a vacuum, clothes iron, ironing board, hair dryer and it is fully stocked with soaps, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, and other extras to get you started.
Crater Lake and Klamath Falls is a 2 hour drive
Lake of the Woods is 1 1/2 hour drive
Josephine County Fairgrounds is 5 minute drive
