Description

From the moment you enter this Zen-infused penthouse, you are transported to a relaxing island in the sky with 360-degree views from your large terrace or comfortable balcony.

Every piece of furniture, cabinet and woodwork is custom, one of a kind, mostly from the owner's travels throughout Asia. There are luxury finishes throughout the whole apartment.

It features an open full kitchen and living areas, the bedroom is separated by Japanese sliding shoji doors.

Kitchen has a large carved wood island, granite countertops plus new appliances and pantry.

Living area has a daybed sofa and Large Smart TV built in the wall.

The entire apartment was designed for Medellin's year-round pleasant temperate climate as all sliding doors can be opened up so that the ample balcony and large terrace become one with the indoor space with nice breezes throughout the day.

If a pop-up thunderstorm occurs the terrace has high 14-foot roof that is motorized and remote-controlled roof that will extend out to cover the terrace with either an opaque, waterproof cover or completely covered with a bamboo roof.

The terrace features a waterfall fountain, lush vines and plants that are on an automated drip system.

Small gas grill is perfect for one or a group.

Comfortable seating and a table allows for al fresco dining for all meals. Large Smart TV which can be pivoted for great viewing anywhere on the terrace or from the kitchen.

The desk is stocked and provides a portable laptop stand so you can work or check your email comfortably.

Bathroom has floor-to-ceiling tile with a raindrop showerhead and hand-carved rock sink.

Laundry/utility area is off the kitchen with a W/D combo machine, separate sink and storage cabinet.

The wood island has stools for dining or chatting while there is a table on the terrace with seating for four.

Apt is located in a quiet, tree-lined residential area, but centrally located. There is a convenient small market one block away and many more restaurants and shops with a few blocks. Segundo Parque is the swankiest part of upscale Laureles and very centrally located. Viva Laureles, a popular mall is only a five block walk. Avenida Nutibara, the upscale artery, three blocks away, where you will find a variety of unique shops and boutiques, myriad of restaurants plus supermarkets, pharmacies, banks and many other stores where you can find mostly anything you may need.
