Just 5 km of the Duomo of Firenze, Fontelucente was known from the ancient times for its waters that surged from stone and were highly attractive for the performers of religious and pagan rituals, as it is also shown in the works of Poliziano.The Oratory was built in 1692 in the surroundings of the fountain, as a home for the pilgrims who came for the well-known miraculous properties of those waters. The Villa was built on the vestiges of the ancient caravansary of the oratory for the pilgrims.

Today, the modern pilgrims are hosted.If you want to feel like pilgrims/guests/learners and live a unique experience, leave away all your worries and trust yourselves to Emy Narbone and her courses on nutrition, meditation, yoga and body care.

Sanctuary of the Holy Crucifix of Fontelucente: A magical and enchanted place. The place name comes from a spring already known in the 15th Century which began flowing as the pietra serena was hewn from the quarry as so often happens when blocks of the sedimentary rock are cut away. The brilliance can still be seen as the water is struck by the light as it flows over the layers of rock.

It calls for the respect of the house, the furniture and the silence. For Internet connections is given USB stick. We love very much animals but please let us know your intention to bring your beloved pet and wait for the answer. The laundry is not stretch for energy saving and products for washing and cleaning are BIO. We invite economizing water and do not leave the taps open or half-closed as well as the lights.
