Newly completed post hurricane renovation completed

With all new furnishings on 2nd and 3rd floors

Villa Del Mar

The Villa is set toward the top of the mountain overlooking the sea with stunning 200-degree Views of Jost van dyke, Great Thach, and Sandy Spit. At this elevation and facing north we are blessed with a steady sea breeze. To the east we get a wonderful view of the north shore Tortola coastline. Apple bay, Carrot bay, and Cane Garden Bay, At Night when these small fishing villages are lit it paints a stunning nightscape with the lighting dancing in the sea surf.

On the first floor we have 2 studio bedroom spaces with private “outdoor” bathrooms and patios all with views of the sea. The 2nd floor consists of 3 pavilions. To the east is the Great room consisting of the Kitchen and Living Room. The pool and pool patio are in the center of the Villa. The pool patio connects all the rooms on the 2nd floor. The Master suite pavilion is on the west side and the Pool suite which is set just behind the swimming pool is in the center. A stairway leads you up to the 3rd floor which consists of a lovely private bedroom, bathroom suite with a seating arrangement on the front balcony. Four of the five shower in the villa are open air with only the pool bath boasting an indoor shower.

A favorite pastime is watching the sailboats gracefully traverse across the wonderful vista as the weather clouds and rainbows provide the perfect backdrop all emanating from the Sage mountain just to the east.

The Villa boasts Italian Marble floors. Screens at all openings that retract to disappear from the openings, not to impede the view and many lighting options for all the spaces. The lighting options are LED, INCANDESCENT- EDISON, and SOLAR. This is a place so serene you will feel like you don’t want to go out. But please do enjoy the many marvelous restaurants in the area.

Some wonderful things we did: went to Cane Garden Bay, the Bath’s at Virgin Gorda, Foxxy’s at Yost Van Dyke, Trunk Bay at St. John’s. What we saw and discovered: We discovered “Pain Killers” a great drink, most wonderful locals, awesome views, great friendships, and reasons to come back to paradise. Moments and glimpses and little details that mattered: honk when you drive and going around corners, look for the random donkey, chicken and roosters, don’t jump into the pool, take lots of outdoor showers.
