Available to rent for the first time ever, Casa Mira is a truly unique property on Bonaire. Located in the exclusive and private neighborhood of Sabadeco Shores on Bonaire, Casa Mira is an oceanfront 3-bedroom, 3.5 bathroom that's tucked away on a quiet and private street and surrounded by a natural landscape where hummingbirds and Lara's abound. It's designed in the Antillean style with a large, covered porch (half of which is screened-in), a spacious sundeck and a large, mature, garden full of local and indigenous plants and trees. The architecture of the villa is traditional and beautifully situated to blend in with the landscape and to capture the trade winds, which keep the house and porch cool all year. The inside of the villa features clean, modern lines, teak wood flooring throughout, and contemporary designer furniture both inside and out. The European bathrooms are tiled, with walk-in showers and a full-sized bathtub in the Master Bedroom.

I love your recommendations of the Aleta's Goat Farm and Botanical Garden -- two things I did not ebven know existed on Bonaire and I'm looking forward to checking out. Good news, unless you are a midge, we're planning on screening in half the porch (the piece by the master bedroom) so you have the unscreened view from the dinning table but also a screened-in escape outside if the bugs are bad.
