The Carib Edge penthouse is close to Speightstown, where you find groceries, many other shops, restaurants, and public transport (Speightstown terminal), all in easy walking distance. A rental car is therefore not necessary, which is not the case for many other apartments in Barbados!

You will love Carib Edge, because of its large, partly covered terrace with view of the sea, an airy and comfy living room with high ceiling, AC and ceiling fans, a well equipped Italian kitchen, a spacious bedroom with a queen size bed, AC and ceiling fans. In addition there is a foldable sofa bed for one person. The blinds darken the two windows of the bedroom strongly.

The place is good for couples and solo adventurers, also with an accompanying child or adult (the sofa bed can be placed in the bedroom or the living room).

This is the only apartment in the whole White Sands condominium complex which is on one level.

We bought Carib Edge in 2017. The 5-star Coral Sands apartment (for up to six guests), owned by us as well, is just underneath.

Getting around

From the penthouse you get to the bus station of Speightstown in less than five minutes walk. From there you can reach most places on the island by bus. Fares are really cheap, but you need coins to pay the driver. A rental car is of course more convenient, but because of the setting of the apartment not absolutely necessary. A 4x4 car is hardly needed at all. If you want to rent a car, Stoute's car rentals gives our guests a discount. Ask us if you are interested.

Interaction with guest

At the time of your stay, we will most probably not be on the island, if we are not staying by chance in the Coral Sands apartment below, which we own in the same building. We are available by email. Our caretaker Sonjia is always available. She will clean twice a week and change the bed linen weekly. If there is a problem in the building she cannot solve, please contact the Facilities Manager of the agency Chestertons. After booking, we will provide the names, all contact telephone numbers and email addresses.
