Description

This is a unique park on a beautiful barrier island, dating from 1940s with units ranging from vintage restored to luxurious manufactured homes. The park has a 55+ age requirement, no pets, and is perfectly landscaped and maintained. There is a clubhouse, library, boat docks, laundromat, and shuffleboard courts that see a lot of action! Our unit is clean, modern and nicely furnished, with a sizable kitchen and bathroom, pull out sofa in living room. Stroll literally right across the street and your feet sink into Anna Maria 's famous "powdered sugar" sand. Shells and water birds abound, and manatee and dolphin sightings are common. The island is covered with walking and biking trails.

At least one renter must be 55 or older. Please no smoking inside and no butts left around the patio please! There are no pets allowed except for service animals which would require permission from the main office. Park is kept clean, safe and peaceful....NOT a wild party spot.

**15 days prior to arriving, guests must fill out and submit an information form for the Sandpiper office, including driver's license photo and a $16 one time fee. Your information will be on file for all future visits. You will receive a parking permit after check in at the Park's office.

Only 50 steps from the nicest beach around, this 1957 Vintage mobile home-carport (1 week minimum rental / no pets policy) features a lovely "studio sized" interior decorated in a Caribbean style. Guests of tenant must be 45 to stay one week+. Background application required by park office before arrival.

Response from the owner I am happy you enjoyed your stay at the Sunset Cottage. I too love that the cottage is between the Gulf of Mexico and Sarasota Bay. You can see the sun rise over the Bay and set over the Gulf with both just steps away. I hope you decide to come back in December. =)

How do damage deposits work?
