Description

We have uninterrupted views over the vineyards and the Havequa mountains. Your alarm clock will be the call of a Ringneck Turtle dove or guinea fowl. If you are lucky, a fish eagle. Traffic consists of the odd tractor pulling a harvest- filled trailer, with grapes, peaches or olives. You'll have to rush for your cell or camera to shoot a miracle happening in nature. The butterflies may shunt you around, but that's life in a farming villiage hidden in a valley you may have sped past at high speed down the Du Toitskloof pass. If need to get away from it all, this is the place to come. Have you ever heard the evening breeze before you feel it? Here you do. The wind will whisper its secrets to as it passes over vineyard, orchard, forest, hills and dales. I could tell you more, but I don't have time, sorry, I have to go outside to watch the sunset with a glass of Wellington's best Merlot or La Folie's Mad Cab. Come stay, come see, come be.....

Getting around

You could arrive in town by train or rented vehicle. We offer airport transfers. Although you might perhaps find an Uber taxi, it will be very expensive indeed. Please arrange with us, we offer transfers and day tours, which will also allow you to enjoy the award winning wines and whiskies or beers at the many vineyards around Wellington. We offer airport shuttle service and local tours: wine tasting, whisky tasting, shopping, cherry picking

We understand that our guests value their privacy and therefor tend to stay in the background, although we are always at hand for assistance or a chat if the clients so wish. We reserve all rights. Misbehaving guests who do not adhere to the spirit and letter of our house rules values and morals will be closely monitored and evicted if we feel such guests are a nuisance or offending our staff and neighbours

“The most amazing stay”

Our daughter got married. Mara and her amazing team made our stay a beautiful memory we will always treasure and remember.

How do damage deposits work?
