Description

A beautifully decorated, immaculate, large ground floor guest house with a full kitchen including a dishwasher, full bath, comfy queen bed, room darkening shades in the bedroom, a large closet, wood stove with firewood provided, and a sofa bed in the main living area. There is a propane grill and outdoor picnic area, as well as outdoor lounge chairs under the arbor.

It is a peaceful and restorative get-away located a 5 minute walk through the forest to either the private beach to the south of the property or to Pt. Robinson Lighthouse Park (which is a one minute drive away). There is a nice long hike along the south-facing beach from Pt. Robinson to the Maury Island Marine Park when the tides allow. Deer, owls, woodpeckers and songbirds frequent the forest outside your door. Pets welcome with an additional $40 pet cleaning fee. This is a non-smoking property. Horses live in the pasture 50 feet from the Coach House, and deer, rabbits, and other wildlife make the property their home, so pets need to be leashed except when they are at the beach.

“Lovely pet-friendly retreat”

The carriage house was lovely, with amazing attention to detail. Nature hikes, lots of wildlife, private and quiet. We would definitely stay again.

Absolutely beautiful, cozy getaway - loved the location and the owner was very welcoming. We did lots of hiking, beachcombing and relaxing on the porch swing. Definitely will visit again!

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
