BittyShack-

We are excited to bring you the newest and cutest members of The RatherShacks family: Itty Shack and Bitty Shack. The concept came to us through customer feedback, extensive research, and many drinks. Riding the successful trend of our Tiny Shack and the increased interest in smaller, affordable beachfront dwelling, we crafted these twin units just for your enjoyment in their own little compound right in the middle of the rest of our Shacks. If you have been inducted into the Sumo Wrestler Hall of Fame, or your significant other can install the Christmas star atop the tree without a ladder then this is not the place for you. Each of these micro units are approximately 11ft x 12 ft, and sport a queen size bed for your comfort, and brand new tile and glass appointed bathrooms, along with funky ceiling lines and headboards. An eat –in bistro style table or Al-Fresco set of chairs outside will give you the max relax dining experience you have been searching for. A dedicated outdoor shower (one for Itty and one for Bitty) lets you wash away the sand and surf, just in time to grill the burgers at the shared community grill in the back yard. Efficiency style kitchenettes allow you to make a gourmet pot of coffee, toast that bagel, or microwave the leftovers from one of the many culinary gems our island has to offer(oh, and did we mention all this is 15 minutes from the award winning restaurants in downtown Charleston?).

Did you know that 10 times more people in the world smoke cigar-ETTES as compared to cigars? And one of the most iconic sports cars in US history is the Corv-ETTE. Did you know that before that, Grandmas were driving the Corv… and now nobody drives a Corv. Pretty soon, nobody will have kitchens, just kitchen-ETTES. So when you stay here, you can call yourself a trend setter. Pretty cool , huh?

With Itty and Bitty it’s like living in your own little village. You may even call yourselves “The Village People.” But instead of singing YMCA you’ll be shouting “its fun to stay at The RAH- ATHER-SHACKS! its fun to stay at The RAH- ATHER-SHACKS !…” You get the idea.

As we’ve said before, small is the new big on Folly Beach and you will find your perfect spot here at Itty or Bitty, all within a 2 minute walk to the beach and 5 – minute walk to Center Street downtown Folly Beach.

How do damage deposits work?

If Katherine (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
