Elevate your Smoky Mountain getaway when you stay at this beautiful 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom vacation rental cabin with accommodations for 6 adults with room for 2 additional children. Nestled between Maggie Valley and Waynesville in the mountainous woodlands, just a short drive from a ski resort, hiking trails, and Asheville, this peaceful cabin offers the perfect home base for outdoor adventure seekers.

Drive up the paved road to arrive at your mountain abode, situated atop a hill in the stunning Smoky Mountains. Beautiful views of the mountains and towering trees can be enjoyed from either of the 2 wrap-around covered decks, complete with plenty of chairs to lounge on while spending quality time with your travel companions.

Step inside the log cabin to make yourself at home in 1,623 square feet of comfortable living space. Bring your laptop and log onto the internet with high-speed wireless connection while relaxing on the plush sofas next to the wood-burning fireplace in the living area. Turn on the TV and watch a movie from the large collection of DVDs or pick from the different games and puzzles to enjoy with the whole group!

With the open floor plan, it will be easy to lounge on the sofa while chatting with the chef of the group as they prepare a delicious meal in the fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy your meals at the round dining table or bring the party outside on the top covered deck for an al fresco dining experience. On sunny days, fire up the grill for a cookout and swing or rock your cares away on the porch swing or rocking chairs.

For a different perspective of your surroundings, step down to the lower covered deck to enjoy the soothing waters of the hot tub or sit at the bar while marveling at the views of the rolling pastures and mountains.

When you’re tired, retreat to one of the inviting bedrooms for a good night’s rest. The heads of the household will delight in the large master suite, offering a seating area, LCD widescreen cable TV and adjoining bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. Ceiling fans and plush beds in each bedroom make your stay all the more comfortable.

During the summertime, enjoy river tubing and brace yourself for the beautiful colors during the fall. Winter is great for skiing at Cataloochee Ski Resort or snow tubing down the mountainside in Maggie Valley.

During the spring, the hillsides take on an emerald green color as you enjoy shopping, golfing, eating at the many fine restaurants, a trip to the antique car museum, or simply relaxing. From spring to fall, watch the many fireflies on warm nights and bring the kiddos out to try to catch them for a nice night light when they’re falling asleep.

From the home, you’ll also be just a short drive from golf courses, fishing, a ski resort, hiking trails, the Biltmore house and the artist communities of Waynesville and Asheville!
