Playa La Mision is located on the most beautiful beach in Baja about half way between Rosarito and Ensenada. Also just south of Baja Studios where such films as Titanic and Master Commander were filmed. There is a nearby fishing village where you can buy the freshest of whatever the seasonal catch is that day. Or, if the tide is low enough (anything 0 or lower), you can go clamming yourself right in your own backyard!

If wine tasting is on your agenda, there are many fabulous wineries in Valle De Guadalupe less than an hour away. There are also many 5 star restaurants in the Valle.

The Grand room has a fireplace, large oceanfront dining room, large oceanfront den and one oceanfront bedroom. Huge gated lot will accommodate any vehicle, trailer, motor home, etc. Large patio has plenty of room for all to kick back, relax, watch the horses ride the beach, and enjoy the best sunsets!

One bedroom has a queen size bed, the oceanfront bedroom has a full size bed, and the den has a queen size sofabed and it's own bathroom. All beds have awesome linens for the best night sleep while listening to the ocean waves! Each bedroom also has a ceiling fan.

Most every Saturday morning at 9:30am, you can expect the 'tamale lady' at your door delivering fresh hot tamales for only a dollar. You can also order up a complete, authentic Mexican dinner served right to your oceanfront patio. Catering services are also offered by Boutique Dining.

If you prefer to be your own chef, there are a number of places to purchase fresh seafood, or for a small fee, we will have someone shop for and deliver to you. If you like to do smoking, ask us if the smoker is available. I usually have it fired up on the weekends for smoking cheese, fish, ribs, and you name it!

Just 40 minutes away from our famous Guadalupe Wine Valley for wine tasting and some of Baja's best restaurants!

Otherwise, we will make arrangements to have the caretaker unlock the gate and leave the keys for you on the kitchen counter. We (Marla and Bob) live right next door so you can feel free to take the small walkway between our houses to ask us any questions or let us know if there are any issues with your stay that we can help with.
