Description

Welcome to La Casa de mis Sueños (House of my Dreams). Our Dream casita has all the charm you are looking for. The casita is a historic adobe home in a quite old neighborhood, no through traffic. It is a 10 minute walk to the Plaza and Railyard District and 15 minutes to Canyon Road. The casita has vigas with traditional coved ceilings, adobe walls and arched doorways. Saltillo tiles cover the bathroom and kitchen. Wide plank pine floors cover the bedroom, front room, and dining room. There are lots of throw rugs that have been collected from all over that adorn the pine floor that make it bright & warm. This is truly a dream casita located in a dream location.

We have tried to furnish the casita to meet the needs of most guests. The living space includes one bedroom with an en suite full bath and spacious closet, front room, dining room, furnished kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, french press, coffee grinder, toaster, blender, full size refrigerator, gas stove, a laundry room equipped with a washer and dryer and a shaded courtyard behind old adobe walls. This is our favorite spot for enjoying morning coffee or a cold beverage after a day spent exploring the world class shops and galleries that Santa Fe has to offer. The courtyard has soft landscape lighting to enjoy in the evening. It is a place to unwind from a long day and be serenaded by the crickets while you float off to your luxury bed.

Getting around

Walking is the best way to see downtown Santa Fe. There is a bus that can take you out of the Plaza to some more world famous museums. If you want to go hiking to some famous ruins you will need a car.

Interaction with guests are through texting and emails. There is a lockbox to let themselves in. Instructions on lockbox and address will be provided to the guests when they book.

No Shoes. We request that you remove your shoes when inside the home. Hiking boots and high heels are especially damaging. The wood floors are very susceptible to dents and scratches. Please be mindful that rolling suitcases will also damage the floors.

How do damage deposits work?

If Lynn (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
