Built in late 1970’s, Serendipity represents the classical architecture of its era, featuring original Terrazzo floors and classic iron work. Private and spacious, it offers the perfect intimate getaway location as well as the setting for a fabulous family vacation. Serendipity is off the beaten-path and sits in front of one of Jamaica’s national treasures, Turtle Bay. Named for the turtle-shaped monolith that rises from the water you can enjoy the picturesque rocks that crop up from the sea. Located near the small fishing community of Machioneal, you will be able to see the clouds kissing the tops of the famous John Crow Mountains from our front verandas off the upstairs bedrooms. For the nature enthusiast the ocean offers a wealth of natural treasures. The beach offers a coral reef that is great for snorkeling. You can take a stroll on the beach and collect sea shells and sea glass, or take pictures of the natural formations of the rocks and colors of the sea. A photographer’s dream! From the back verandas you have a clear view of the ocean where you can feel and smell the fresh ocean breeze and sleep to the sound of the waves. Spend the afternoon relaxing on one of the many double hammocks on the property and watch the moon rise at night over the ocean. Our Villa sleeps 10 people comfortably. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and a loft. The master bedroom has a front and rear veranda, the 2nd upstairs bedroom has a front veranda and a veranda off the loft to the rear of the villa. Downstairs boasts two bedrooms (all bedrooms have air conditioning), a dining room that has a dining table with seating for 8 people, a living room with a gaming area that provide overflow seating of up to 4 people for meals, a full bathroom and a half bathroom/powder room, a laundry room with a full size washing machine, a kitchen with a 6 burner gas stove, a full size refrigerator, a small refrigerator, and a two car garage.

In the exterior space we feature oversized veranda, a deck, a cabana with seating and two double hammocks, a gazebo and a bar area with seating that is ideal for grilling or relaxing with that special someone. Our newest addition is the "Look-out " which provides picturesque ocean views, great for events, romantic sunrise, viewing of Moonlight dancing on the waves or moonrise views.

Getting around

DUE TO COVID-19 THIS SERVICE HAS SUSPENDED. We also provide daily excursions to attractions across the island such as Rafting down the Rio Grande, Dunns River Falls, and the Blue Mountain Tour. We offer an all inclusive plan that include meals, transportation and some entrance passes to some of our local attractions.

Interaction with guest

While we will not be on the premises, our housekeeper will be on the premises on week days for light housekeeping. Due to Covid-19 we are following all governmental guidelines and practice social distancing. We can always be reached by phone.
