The Barn Cottage (sleeping 6) is one of three rental properties at Les Courlis and during July and August can be booked with the neighbouring apartment (sleeps 2) and the Farmhouse (sleeps 8).
It's an absolutely wonderful barn conversion, renovated with care and attention to detail with private terrace offering lovely views over the countryside. It's a perfect spot to relax, unwind and enjoy the peace and tranquility. It's situated 10 minutes away from the Dordogne Bastide town of Eymet with weekly markets, numerous bars and restaurants and less than 5 minutes the market town of Miramont de Guyenne in the Lot et Garonne. There's a small, but well stocked, supermarket in Eymet and a larger supermarkets in Miramont de Guyenne for all your needs, plus all of the local shops and markets. The property is 30 minutes from Bergerac airport and about 90 minutes from Bordeaux airport, and as a result it's a perfect base to explore the area.
The cottage comprises of:
Spacious, oak beamed, open plan living area with leather sofas
Dining table and chairs
TV (UK free to view channels)
A couple of steps lead to a spacious ground floor bedroom with king-size bed, ensuite bathroom with walk in shower
Steps up to a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine and microwave oven
Log burner
Up the wooden open tread staircase you will find a twin bedroom and a double bedroom with hanging space - there is a walk in shower room separating the two rooms
To the side of the property are wooden tables and chairs, complete with parasols to enable you to dine outside, along with a charcoal BBQ solely for your use. To the rear of the property is the heated 10x5m chlorine swimming pool with spacious travertine terrace, plenty of sun-loungers and parasols and lovely views over the countryside, if you're lucky it'll be sunflower season.
Saturday changeover although flexible arrival dates may be possible outside of July and August.
Smoking only outside please.
