Fantastic sea views! Situated in the north west of Sardinia between Castelsardo and Santa Teresa di Gallura in the Gulf of Asinara, our bright and airy apartment is ideal for nature-lovers, explorers and those who love to relax in the countryside, with the sea on your doorstep.
Enjoy panoramic ocean views and the most beautiful sunsets from the terrace of your apartment which is furnished for dining al fresco. Your self-catering holiday home is right on the coast with the adjacent beach about 6 minute’s walk away via a direct footpath, where sun bed and parasols can be hired. Also, walk to nearby Marinedda beach, described by Bell’Italia as one of the “sand and water paradises of Sardinia where it is worth swimming at least once in your life”.
Our apartment is on the first floor with its own entrance, with a traditional Sardinian style. The stepped entrance leads to a fitted kitchen, a small indoor dining area and a bright living area with two sofa beds, coffee table and TV etc. The double bedroom offers a king size bed and the bathroom facilities include an enclosed shower and a bidet. The private terrace faces west and gives spectacular views over the rugged coastline with its beautiful blue sea. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas, with seating and tables, just a few minutes walk from the property.
The location is private – perfect for nature-lovers, hikers and those who seek a relaxing destination for their holiday in the unspoilt wilds of Sardinia. This naturally beautiful area offers many paths through the surrounding scrubland and over the headlands, which are good for both walking and biking. Explore these trails for the best views and find hidden coves dotted along the coast. The popular beach at La Marinedda, with its range of tourist facilities, is a short walk across the headland from your apartment. Walk along this sandy beach and up into the country on the far side to continue to the small, quaint fishing town of Isola Rossa, with its shops, restaurants and diving schools. Join a boat excursion from there to view Sardinia from the water, or relax on the beach with all the town facilities at hand.
Enjoy sun-filled days on the beach or laze on your apartment terrace, soaking up the sun, reading that book you’ve always promised yourself, or just unwinding from the stresses of life. The wild surroundings, beaches, crystal blue waters, sunny climate and natural preserved heritage make this a unique holiday destination.
When you are ready for action, snorkel from our beach to discover the most amazing underwater world of colourful fish, hire the tennis courts conveniently situated right at the entrance to the apartment grounds, or explore nearby places to windsurf, sail, dive, ride horses and more in the region. Take a short drive inland to the naturally hot spring on the Coghinas river (free entry) where you can make your own mud baths, bathe in the incredibly warm river and relax on its shores. Alternatively enter the Casteldoria Terme Spa Centre next to the river and pamper yourself with indulgent spa treatments and massages.
The self-catering apartment gives you the freedom to eat at home or dine out. Some of the finest sea food restaurants can be found in the region, as well as traditional Sardinian and Italian dishes. Close by is the renowned wine making town of Badesi, with its cantinas and other gastronomic treats.
Day trips to Castelsardo and Santa Teresa di Gallura, La Maddalena Archipelago, Stintino, Alghero, Costa Smeralda and Orgosolo are all worthwhile if you enjoy visiting historic towns and interesting places. Monte Pulchiana offers fascinating sights such as the largest granite monolith in Sardinia. Stazzi di Gallura, nuraghe (ancient Sardinian dwellings) and the Tombe dei Giganti (the Giant's Tombs) can be explored, the famous Valle della Luna with its moon-like landscape admired, and there are numerous naturally sculpted granite structures along the coast, including one in the shape of an elephant!
Relish quiet, lazy days, enjoying sea-views and sunsets and exploring the coastline. Your destination is nestled between lush vegetation and lovely beaches, overlooking the Costa Paradiso coast. Everything that you need for a great holiday is nearby (restaurants, bars, supermarkets and shops etc) and the apartment grounds has gated access for added security. This is the ideal holiday location for couples, small groups and families.

Most airlines offer numerous routes to Sardinia, especially into Olbia and Alghero airports, both of which are within easy reach of our property at approx 85 km away (50 miles). Cagliari Airport is 254 km away (150 miles), should that be more convenient for your point of departure.
