Brand new, very bright and trendy, the Canaletto apartment offers a stunning canal view and great comfort in the best spot of Castello district.
San Marco Square and the Rialto Bridge can be reached in only 5 minutes walk: the location is absolutely central. This is one of our favorite areas of Venice historical center, close to the main tourist attractions but still very quiet and well serviced by local shops and restaurants as well as supermarkets. Some of the main landmarks found in the surroundings are the Church of San Giovanni e Paolo, Palazzo Grimani and Querini Stampalia, the Rialto Market and the Bridge of Sights, besides the renowned treasures of Basilica di San Marco and the Palazzo Ducale.
The lay-out of the Canaletto apartment is well designed, with a central entrance corridor connecting the bright and airy living room facing south, the large master bedroom with luxury en-suite bathroom, the twin/double bedroom also with en-suite bathroom. The beautiful kitchen is screened from the living room but is part of the same spacious open-space, where you can find also a nice wooden table and six designer chairs. Simple and rational. The caring landlord gave particular importance to functionality and aesthetic of kitchen and bahtrooms. The Canaletto really meets the expectations of the most demanding guests.
The apartment has specific features inherited by the original structure such as wooden beamed ceilings and tall French-windows opening on large balconies offering the most beautiful canal view you can dream of. During the recent restoration the landlord tastefully blended these historical elements with up-to-date furniture and appliances, in order to maximize the comfort. The equipment of the Canaletto include air conditioning in every room, Wi-Fi internet connection, wide flat-screen TV with international channels, DVD player, dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettle, 4 burners gas stoves, large fridge and freezer, etc.
Summarizing, you should choose the Canaletto apartment for the following reasons:

Response from the manager Dear Daniel, Thank you for your feedback which we are completely stunned to read. You have staid at one of our most popular apartments, one of our personal favourites in fact, which is comfortable, nicely equipped has an amazing view that cannot be better. Indeed there is no elevator, as most properties in Venice (probably about 95%) and no elevator is in fact advertised. We apologize if you had to struggle communicating with our agent. Our team speaks Italian and English and there are some members who speak Russian, Spanish and German. Unfortunately we have nobody currently in the team who speaks French too well, so they are more comfortable to speak in English. As for the tourist tax, we apologize if there has been a misunderstanding, the error has immediately been rectified, without too many difficulties - differently to what you state. We always meet our guests at the closest vaporetto stop to the apartment or where the guests get off the water taxi that we can arrange. We are saddened by your comments and do not understand where your anger comes from. We have checked again all mail communication between us and could not find any comment on your behalf about these matters while you were actually staying at the apartment and nothing could in fact have been done to improve your experience. I remain of the opinion that this is your very personal point of view on how things went - and that it has in fact nothing to do with this splendid apartment and the outstanding job our on site team does daily. “perfect in every way”
