Located on the banks of the Scenic Shaver's Fork River, The Landing offers a launching point for boundless outdoor recreational opportunities in all of West Virginia's Four Magnificent Seasons. Whether you wish to ski, fish, hunt, hike, bike, kayak, board a scenic train, trek on your UTV, or just relax in a hammock by the rolling cool water of the Shaver's Fork, or the cozy warmth of our gas log fireplace, we're waiting to indulge you.

Our location features easy access just off US 33 along Tunnel Mountain Road, enjoying paved entry to the property right to the door. The property fronts the shore of the river, providing private access to the water. It is also conveniently located adjacent to the Monongahela National Forest and its Stuart Recreational Area. The Landing features both a full length front patio and a back deck overlooking the water, and a yard perfect for fun, outdoor activities. Inside you will find a fully functional kitchen including full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and common small appliances. A washer and dryer can be found in the laundry room. Two separate bedrooms provide sleeping for 4 guests, while available sofa/futons can easily accommodate up to 4 additional guests. The common areas in the Landing are spacious, and allow for multiple activities to occur without cramping anyone's style. A large full bath completes the layout on this single floor, handicap accessible home. Cable television and high speed internet is available, with wifi inside and outside the home.

If you need to venture to town, Elkins is located just a few minutes west and offers small town, downtown unique shopping as well as major retailers, grocers, and restaurants. We are conveniently located between two ski areas, Snowshoe Mountain to our south and Canaan Valley to our North East, both within 45 minutes to an hour of the Landing. Golfing can also be found in Elkins, as well as in those ski resort locations.
