As the new owners of Southern Vieux Cabin, we are thrilled to share our mountain-side sanctuary with any couple or family searching for a private and charming getaway. Our cabin is the ideal place to unwind on your honeymoon and create lasting memories as you enjoy the romantic beauty of surrounding nature. While Southern Vieux Cabin lies tucked away in the wooded wonderland, it also provides easy access to the city’s nearby restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping in the arts and crafts community, guaranteeing you every desired aspect of your vacation.

Southern Vieux Cabin allows you to rest in the quiet paradise with its beautiful king bed loft bedroom, 2 full bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, and living room containing a sofa sleeper. The master bedroom and bathroom offer the most romantic setting and beautiful mountain views while lounging in the king-sized bed and relaxing in the heart-shaped Jacuzzi tub. The sunrise and natural lighting begs you to enjoy a morning cup of coffee from the comfort of the bed while beholding an enchanting view of Mount LeConte.

However, the master bedroom and bathroom is not the only place to soak in the natural bliss of the mountains’ embrace. Enjoy the intimacy of the cozy fire among the gas log fireplace, or become mesmerized from the private hot tub and 2 rocking chairs on the balcony overlooking the Southern Views, wooded mountain, and ample wildlife. The balcony and fireplace add to the romantic and private setting you are looking for, perfect for sipping on an early morning cup of tea or a late night glass of wine.

Our wooded oasis lies amid a flat parking drive without any steep roads on the drive up, offering easy access to the door; and it provides attractive amenities including a functioning washer and dryer, pool table and Pac-Man multi-gaming system for friendly competitions, and a charcoal grill with surrounding grassy areas perfect for casual cookouts and picnics.

Getting around

A car is necessary to navigate the area. There is a trolley that takes you to Gatlinburg as well; however, the closest stop is at the Family Dollar, which is 2 miles from the cabin.

Interaction with guest

Guests will have full access to the whole cabin! Before they arrive, they will receive emails with instructions on how to enter the cabin using our keypad entry, suggested directions, favorite attractions and restaurants, etc. We are available to answer any questions via email, text message, or phone call.

How do damage deposits work?

If Christie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
