The 16th Century Manor House, listed Grade II* by English Heritage, is set in its own 50 acre estate of woodland with trout stream and formal walled gardens. Breathtaking views are found at every turn.

Ingleby Manor offers visitors a truly unique retreat in its four luxury self-catering apartments in the manor house itself, and a house and cottage in the grounds, all exquisitely decorated and centrally heated. Ingleby Manor is surrounded by its own gardens and grounds but is also in a naturally secluded position. On three sides the 1000 foot high Cleveland Hills rise to the North York Moors and create an amphitheatre around the Greenhow valley, and on the fourth, a half-mile private avenue connects the house to Ingleby village and the outside world.

It is a retreat for all seasons. Wood anemones, bluebells and wild garlic in Spring make a spectacular carpet under the lime trees. In Summer the formal rose garden and herbaceous borders in the walled garden are at their best and create a perfect setting for games of croquet, barbecues or just relaxing in the sun. Children's toys and swing are available.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Christine/Adam (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
