The Summit at Massanutten Resort
Lower Unit. 2 Bedroom 2 Bath with Partial Kitchen , Sleeps up to 6.
**In addition to the rent, there is a $9.50 resort fee per day per unit that you pay directly to the resort at check in.
Massanutten Resort is a great place for family vacation. It's about two and half hour drive from DC.
The resort offers many unique lodging options with a wide variety of amenities including complete indoor/outdoor waterpark, numerous indoor and outdoor swimming facilities, 18-hole golf courses, miniature golf, go-carting, snow skiing, snow boarding, snow tubing, ice skating, full-service spa, gymnasium, tennis courts, workout facilities, horseback riding, fishing, mountain biking, hiking, river rafting, kayaking, zip line, canopy tours, etc.
Summit units are rated Gold Crown by RCI. Summits were built in the townhouse style and have nice views of the slopes and Mountain Greens Golf Course.
The unit is a large and very comfortable, 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom condo that can easily accommodate your family. Your accommodations include a living room, dining room, 2 baths (a large Whirlpool tub), a deck, a gas fireplace, and a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, plates, glasses, and tableware. Bath towels, hand towels and wash clothes, paper towels, toilet tissue, soaps and detergents, and other consumable supplies will be furnished. This unit includes master bedroom with king bed, second bedroom with two twin beds; living room with pullout sleeper sofa. Maximum occupancy is 6. Private sleeping area sleeps 4. Washer/dryer is located in stairwell between upper and lower units.
This unit has a partial kitchen (same size and features as the full kitchen except that it doesn't have a range). Although the partial kitchen in the lower units at the Summit doesn't have the electric range, it's exactly the same size and layout as the full kitchen in the upper unit, with the same full size refrigerator, microwave and other appliances. Plus, to makeup for the lack of a range, the partial kitchen is also equipped with an electric skillet, electric griddle and a two burner hot plate, so you can cook anything that doesn't require an oven. And the lower unit has a gas grill on the deck, which the upper unit doesn't which is really nice if you like to barbecue.
