Traditional townhouse with amazing Grand Harbour and Valletta views in the charming 16th century seaside city of Senglea. Two double bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, kitchen, living room and a roof terrace. The amazing sea and the lively waterfront are both within a 5 minute walk with plenty of local cafes and restaurants to choose from. Get on a traditional water taxi and cross over to Valletta in a few minutes, a UNESCO world heritage site and European Capital of Culture in 2018!

“Lovely place”

We spent a week here, it easily accommodated us as a family of 6 adults and we had a great time. The townhouse has been lovingly refurbished/restored by the owner, located in a quiet side street away from the road, facing a small seating/garden area. It is well equipped, if you wanted to self cater instead of eating out and had little extras such as coffee, tea, biscuits being available on arrival. Kenneth, the owner also provided a bottle of wine as he was aware that someone was celebrating a birthday whilst we were there and some credit in the air conditioning units, to use on arrival - we could not fault the house, location or the hospitality from the owner, it was everything we wished for. The best part is the roof terrace with its view over the harbour and Valletta - we spent lots of time enjoying the view, watching boats/cruise ships arrive and depart, playing cards or eating breakfast here. Be advised here are several steps/stairs in this property so would not be suitable for less able or young children. Senglea where the property is located is part of the ancient three cities so all the properties are old townhouses so no new buildings, means it is not over developed as other areas of Malta sadly are. A short walk takes you to the waterfront with plenty of places to eat/drink, or catch the ferry to Valetta (buy a weekly ticket it also gives you access to the lift into Upper Barrakka Gardens in Valetta) or bus to wherever. We also enjoyed walking from Senglea over the foot bridge to Birgu. There are small corner shops nearby which meet your immediate needs we would particularly recommend the bakery Rendevous by the Snop for bread. We did travel further afield for a bigger supermarket. We would definitely recommend staying here if planning a trip to Malta.

“A beautiful home with spectacular views.”

Booking went smoothly and our stay in Senglea was all the more special thanks to this beautiful home. Authentic features give it so much character. Loved it. The view of the harbour from the rooftop is simply to die for. Kenneth and his lovely wife, owners of the place, are very friendly and hospitable and do their best to make your stay comfortable. The place is well equipped. There's even a blow hairdryer with a diffuser. Just saying ;) I hope to stay here again in the future.

A wonderful town house in a fantastic location - near the marina for restaurants and walking distance to a place where you can swim in the harbour. The views of Valetta are superb.

“Great apartment”

Thank you for the nice stay. The apartment has everything you need. The location is great. There are all the necessary shops in the area and the ferry to Valletta is 10 minutes away.

“Wonderful appartment with great harbour seaviews”

The appartment has three stores and is situated near the marina of Senglea in a quiet neighbourhood. In the marina you can find all kind of little restaurants and the ferrystop to Valletta. Groceries are in the near surroundings. The busstop is also in walking distance. The appartment was very clean. In the kitchen you can find everything to prepare your own meals. The bedrooms were nice with more than enough closets to store your things. The beds were rather hard though. The roofterrace is a little gem. You have very nice views to the Grand Harbour and Valletta and every day we saw a different big cruiser. Thank you, Kenneth, for your kind welcome when we arrived! We had a very pleasant stay and would certainly reccommend this appartment.
