Caxton Lodge lies just 2 miles from the centre of Blackpool with its iconic tower and attractions. The Lake District is also within easy reach.
Located just 2 miles from the popular seaside resort of Blackpool, Caxton Lodge provides spacious and beautifully presented semi-detached accommodation, perfect for large families or groups of friends looking for a fun-filled coastal escape. This former residential home has been completely transformed by the owners into a contemporary holiday home which offers all the comforts one expects, including Wi-Fi, large flatscreen TVs, comfortable bedrooms, well-equipped kitchen and family bathrooms. With plenty of off road parking, and just a 5-minute walk to the tram stop with services into Blackpool and Fleetwood, it’s perfect for those who want to enjoy the area’s attractions without having to worry about traffic and parking.
Caxton Lodge is located in Bispham, a residential suburb of Blackpool. Within ½ mile of the property you will find plenty of shops including a local butchers, bakers, supermarket, pubs, cafés and restaurants, as well as an amusement arcade, golf course and public swimming baths. A short tram ride, 2½ miles, will take you into Blackpool, where the many attractions include three piers, the famous tower and circus, Pleasure Beach, Sea Life Centre, Madame Tussauds, Grand Theatre and Opera House, and Houndshill Shopping Centre.
Within 3 miles you can visit Blackpool Zoo and Stanley Park with boating lake, crazy golf, trampolines, miniature village and art deco café. There are also a couple of golf courses and the popular market town of Poulton-le-Fylde which has a good array of shops, cafés and restaurants as well as a farmers’ market every Monday. The traditional fishing town of Fleetwood, with markets on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, is just 6 miles away; its Freeport Shopping Village is particularly popular with visitors. Alternatively, visit the cosmopolitan coastal town of Lytham St Annes, 8 miles. Apart from being famous for having no less than five championship golf courses, it also offers a great selection of cafés, restaurants and individual shops and boutiques. Close to Lytham St Annes is Fairhaven Lake, a saltwater lake with recreational facilities including motorboat, canoe and rowing boat hire. You can also take a short cruise across the lake or visit the café and RSPB discovery centre.
For those who prefer a greener landscape, venture inland to explore the beautiful Lancashire countryside. Recommended day trips include a visit to Beacon Fell Country Park, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 20 miles, or the historic city of Lancaster with its castle, Williamson Park and butterfly gardens, 30 miles. Should you wish to travel a bit further, just over an hour’s drive will take you into the stunning landscapes of Cumbria’s Lake District and surrounding fells, home to Beatrix Potter and Wordsworth.

Very good and quiet location, we had a great time But could have been cleaner,upstairs shower was strange, fire alarms needed batteries changed and kept us awake, lock on downstairs toilet was broken Everything we needed was there to enjoy our holiday

“Caxton lodge”
We had a lovely stay. The lodge was amazing ver nice and clean. The owner went above and beyond to help us. They also looked after our puppy for the day went out to explore Blackpool. Their service is 5 star. I would definitely recommend staying their lodge. Thank you
