Description

Traditional Oak Barn conversion at the foothills of the Malvern Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty, 4 miles from the historic market town of Ledbury. We have the most tranquil setting on our farm,with amazing walks from the doorstep, stunning views and luxurious well appointed accommodation. Mayfields Barn is ideal for families with kids of all ages, groups and well behaved dogs by arrangement. A welcome pack of farm eggs, tea, coffee is provided.For groups of 6+ you can also hire our lovely, cosy shepherds hut which creates another bedroom for the Barn, please enquire at time of booking. You will have full access to our barn, the patio and lawn with climbing frame, BBQ with outdoor dining set and all around our 90 acre farm. For families with young children we can organise a proper cot, high chair and a full range of toys and books. You can walk across the beautiful farmland that surrounds the barn, you can sit in the tranquility of our woodland and look for the resident owls. If your interested we can arrange a tour of the farm for you, please request in advance so that we can advise if possible.

Getting around

We have plenty of parking and recommend coming by car, however its possible to get here by train and taxi and plenty of super walking from the door. For CHELTENHAM RACE GOERS lifts can be arranged with the hosts.

Interaction with guest

We live right next door and we hope to make you feel really welcome, we are on hand should you need help with anything. We can arrange an evening meal at an extra cost using our farm produce where possible. We can take delivery of a supermarket home delivery for you so that its ready for your arrival. For foodies we have a fantastically well equipped kitchen, herbs are in abundance in the garden.

“Beautiful barn house!”

Greeted by the owner Sophie and her children on arrival and this converted barn really blew us away. We woke up to vast fields of green and it is just so peaceful! My family felt very welcome and Sophie also shared some freshly baked shortbread shortly after our arrival, which was lovely and delicious. The children loved playing with the pet dogs and kittens whilst the rest of the family were relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The accommodation is 10/15 minutes from Ledbury but you will need a car for convenience. Beautiful rooms and views - will definitely be returning for another stay :)
