Description

I listed three Kolkata properties in this site, each targeted for different groups. Unlike many other listed accommodations, cooking facility is available in all three listings. Help in cooking or running errands can be provided/arranged with 10 days’ notice. No restrictions on food habit in any of my properties.

1. This listing is suitable for large affluent family with children or business travelers in group looking for the same quality of amenities they are used to in a developed country, entertaining local guests (e.g., school friends or business associates). Business travelers could get many additional services from the host, a former owner of a DBE Professional Engineering firm in New York & Electrical Consultant in India.

2. The second listing is for small families. It is on the 16 floor in an upscale modern residential complex with lift, walking path, and beautiful view.

3. The third listing is also for small but budget conscious families. It is on the third floor of my ancestral home & does not have lift. However, prescheduled help in handling luggage during check in and check out is complementary.

Many Mid-priced and high end restaurants and number of upscale coffee shops are within walking distance., Priya cinema and RKM Walk to Hospital, banks,post office: 5-6 min, Lake Mall, Gariahat,, Kalighat temple, & Metro rail, Veg fruits, fresh fish market, grocery, ATM-3 min, Sealdah & Howrah Railway station 10 miles, CCU International airport 20 miles. One trip to Sundarban starts and ends near Priya cinema.

If you need any help or have any questions, I will be available thru phone, e-mail. I respect your privacy and could get involve as much or as little as you want. 90 feet private driveway separates this house from the main street. Neighbors are separated not by walls but minimum of 100 feet in front, back and one side while downstairs apartment remains vacant for most time of the year. Available privacy and quietness is uncommon in Calcutta at this price range. Consequently, the usual restriction meant to ensure convenience to immediate neighbors are much less restrictive. Full privacy is guaranteed if listing # 2 is rented simultaneously. Some offerings in Calcutta have restrictions even on food habit. This listing has none.
