Description

Whitehavens is a character period cottage situated in the heart of Highcliffe village a few minutes walk from the award winning Highcliffe beach where there are panoramic views of the Isle of Wight, Hengisbury Head and the Purbeck Peninsular.

Moments from the front door is the main Highcliffe High Street with a variety of shops (including a Tesco and a Coop), restaurants (Thai, Fish'n'Chips, traditional local fare), cafes, pubs and takeaways (Chinese, Fish'n'Chips).

There are numerous local attractions within walking distance including Highcliffe Castle and Mudeford Quay (from where you can take the seasonal ferry service to the famous Hengisbury Head).

To the east, an easy 10 minute drive takes you to the New Forest National Park or you may prefer to visit the Historic Hurst Castle (with access by foot along the 1.5 mile (Hurst Spit) or by Ferry from the pretty village of Keyhaven.

To the West are the larger towns of Christchurch and Bournemouth and Poole where a short chain ferry takes you from Sandbanks to the Purbeck Peninsular.

The living space:

Downstairs there is a comfortable sitting room, large fully equipped kitchen and a large dining room. Upstairs there are 2 spacious double bedrooms, a cosy twin room and a small family bathroom with half bath and shower. Outside is an enclosed rear garden with a gravelled parking area, small patio with chimenea and an area of lawn.
