Description
This is the largest accommodation offered in Camporsevoli, a private Tuscan medieval hamlet, spanning across three levels, complete with gated parking, garden and pool. Le Capanne is a spacious farmhouse just below Camporsevoli perfect for hosting large families or groups of friends. The house is fully equipped with all the comforts of your own home, allowing for the ideal 'home away from home' rental while providing that country-chic Tuscan touch.
This is the largest accommodation offered in Camporsevoli. It is the house where Ada was born, the irreplaceable woman who has taken care of us since we were born and who still prepares her outstanding tagliatelle for us once in awhile. If our guests like – and she is feeling generous – she might be willing to teach them her secrets.
Like many farmhouses, Le Capanne has been expanded at various times, and consists of three floors perched on the hillside. This means that its layout is irregular, offering a great deal of privacy, if desired.
Over 500 m2 (5400 sq. ft.), it is located on the road that leads up to Camporsevoli, one kilometre below the hamlet. It is an independent house, surrounded by a large private garden and exclusive pool. The five double rooms and five bathrooms are distributed on three levels. The large and bright living room, dining room and kitchen open out onto outdoor patio and garden. A smaller living room on the third floor is a quiet space to watch TV or read a book. Both the main living room and the smaller one have a fireplace. The entire third floor, also accessible from an external staircase, can become an independent suite with a kitchenette and private entrance. In all, the house sleeps a total of ten guests. Moreover, if you have children, the pool area is completely closed-off by a gate.
Many guests choose Le Capanne with the intention of visiting cities and towns because of its strategic location (just one and a half hours from both Rome and Florence and under an hour to countless Tuscan and Umbrian hill towns) but often end up staying put enjoying the tranquillity.
The house is fully equipped with wifi and satellite TV and DVD player. Each bathroom is provided with its own hairdryer and upon request, we can provide all the necessities to host small children and babies. The washing machine is located in the far rear of the house, away from sight and sound. The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials for cooking meals during your stay complete with a 5 burner stovetop, a 90 cm electric oven, microwave and dishwasher. The garden is fully furnished with outdoor lounge chairs, a shaded outdoor patio, BBQ, providing everything you need to cook and dine outdoors. Just below, the pool is complete with sunbathing beds, chairs and a shaded area, providing for each guest’s needs.
Upon request, Le Capanne can also be set up with ramps for wheelchair accessibility.

“The Most Memorable and Best Experience with Family Ever”
A friend asked me about what would be a great place to stay in Tuscany. My family stayed here in 2015. The request starting me thinking about our fabulous week at Capanne. It was so excellent and every memory was the best. The villa, the grounds, the pool, the accommodations were all just perfect. There were 7 of us and there was plenty of rooms and baths. The outdoor spaces were lovely as well as the house. We still talk about how wonderful Maria was. The best part was so many places were accessible both north and south. It was so pleasant after a day of sightseeing to come back to such tranquility. We did have a car. The owners were so kind and helpful. WE'd go back in a second.
