Description

Holiday lets only. On the WILD ATLANTIC WAY.....Comfortable, cozy and well equipped. sleeps 7 but also available: an extra folding bed and a travel cot. The house is well equipped with towels, bedclothes and pillows. Family bathroom and ensuite with electric shower. Spectacular views of Bantry Bay and the surrounding countryside from both the kitchen and sitting room as well as the garden. Steep driveway should be noted. Second car park at a lower level. Oil fired central heating. Open fire. Sky TV pack suitable for all ages (variety). WiFi. Just a short distance from Bantry and Glengarriff. Local amenities include golf, swimming, pony trekking, walking, cinema, top class restaurants.

A must is a visit to Bantry market every Friday to sample local produce. also ...Manning's Emporium and see the mouth watering menus! Coffee lovers won't be able to resist the 'Box of Frogs' or 'Green Olive' ...a food lover's haven.

The shops are 1.5 miles from the property. Bantry about 8 minutes by car and Glengarrif also 8 minutes. It is a great place to tour West Cork from ...beaches, castles, houses etc.

Ideally situated between Glengarriff and Bantry, but still in a quiet spot. We were 6 and found the house spacious, well equipped and all questions we had were immediately answered to via whatsapp. The house has a fantastic view on Bantry bay. We would stay again in Fern house!

The modest price reflected the fact that we are nearing the end of our recent refurbishment with two new floors, a new shower and new car parking among other things. Many people love the style of the bathrooms and none have had any difficulty finding the house using google maps and the supplied eircode.

How do damage deposits work?

If Caroline (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
