Villa Ovidia is a three-story age-old farm house surrounded by the greenery. It sleeps 21 people. From Villa Ovidia you will enjoy a characteristic view of the Umbrian countryside. Villa Ovidia is 500 square meters (5380 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a panoramic private terrace, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.

You will be roughly 6 km (3.7 miles) from Assisi, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find a number of restaurants and shops at 2 km (roughly 1.2 miles). You will reach Villa Ovidia from the parking area without having to climb any steps.

To stay at Villa Ovidia you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises.

Deep in the green heart of Umbria, this is an ideal place to enjoy a relaxing holiday far from the hustle and bustle. It is also near the most beautiful part of the Franciscan trails, which can be enjoyed on foot or on horseback.

Immersed in greenery, surrounded by olive trees, mature oaks and cypresses, its setting ensures the tranquillity for a pleasant outdoor break. In addition to the mystic atmosphere and artistic heritage of the area, the holiday farm also produces extra virgin olive oil, lentils, a variety of other pulses, fruit and vegetables.

Several extra services are also offered on site, upon request and for a small fee, to make your stay memorable: baby sitting, cooking classes, how to use a wood-fired oven, wine tasting, language courses (Italian and English).

Swimming Pool

The swimming pool is 6 meters (20 feet) large by 12 meters (39 feet) long, 1.5 meters (5 feet) deep. It can be heated if requested (additional cost applies -- please enquire with our staff). The area is equipped with sun umbrellas and sun loungers. From the swimming pool you will enjoy a gorgeous view of the valley and of the greenery. The pool is open from the beginning of June until mid-September.

Garden

The garden is equipped with a table and chairs. Here you will also find a barbecue.

Ground FloorBedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom

The first bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/63 inches, wider than a queen-size bed) and a single bed (80 cm/32 inches). An additional single bed (80 cm/32 inches) is available (if requested in advance with an additional cost -- please enquire with our staff) to make it a quadruple room. The room has a window with a view of the garden, and it's equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a shower and a hairdryer.

Laundry room

You will be able to reach the laundry room from the entrance hall. Here you will find a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board at your disposal. First FloorTerrace

The terrace is 5 square meters (53 square feet) large. It is equipped with armchairs. From the terrace you will enjoy a splendid view of the Umbrian hills.

Living Room

The living room is paved with original Venetian mosaic. The furnishings are classic and welcoming, and include some antique pieces, and include a sofa and three armchairs. The three dining tables can accommodate 12 guests. From the living room you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The room is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Dining Room

You will be able to enter the dining room from the living room. The furnishings are classic, and include some antique pieces. The dining tables can accommodate 12 guests. The furnishings include a small wood sofa. In this room you will also find a television (local channels). There is an elegant fireplace decorated in marble, for decorative purposes only. From the dining room you will be able to enter the terrace through a French door. The room also has a window, and is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.

Kitchen

You will be able to enter the kitchen from the living room and from the garden through an external access. It is equipped with a five-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker and other small appliances. There is also a barbecue. The dining table can accommodate six guests. The kitchen has a large window with a view of the garden.

Half bath

The half-bath is spacious, made of marble and equipped with a washbasin and a toilet.
