Description

The Lookout is known for its name. It is our highest viewpoint. It sits 15 feet high on the top of La Poza Hill. It has French doors opening onto two large balconies facing both South and West. Take in the beautiful clear view of La Poza beach and lagoon, the wide open Pacific Ocean (the whales playground), Sierra de la Laguna mountains and glorious vibrant sunsets. Below you will look down onto our flagstone walkway, lush flower and fruit garden, heated saltwater pool our sun deck with hammocks.

This peaceful casita is decorated in a blue and turquoise sea life motif with ceramic and glass tiles. The gentle ocean breeze and crashing waves will lull you to sleep on the comfy king size bed. The open concept kitchen has a full fridge and table that seats four with ocean view, as well as two lounging chairs

When you slide open our vintage barn door and enter the bathroom you will find our piece de resistance! The first thing you see is our beloved deep whirlpool tub with four jets. Surrounded in seafoam ceramic tile and local artisan piece of art and mermaid vessel sink. In addition to the jacuzzi there is a ceramic tile shower. There is also a large walk-in closet that is lockable.

Walk out the French doors onto a balcony, with chairs, overlooking the pool, hammock area, and ocean. Another front door opens onto a front balcony which overlooks the gardens.

Response from the owner We are on city water and they are low water efficient toilets-since we live in the dessert. Push both buttons for a better flush.Pump works fine. Lights are on the steps. You need to use switch on the bottom of the post before going up. Bright lights disturb other guests that like to see the stars. There is a pool maintenance man but he only comes once a day. My other guests went swimming and heated the pool up so much they used all my propane gas, hence we ran out on a holiday. A nicer room was offered, with hot water, but you declined. New pool chairs have been ordered. The sun is strong and destroys wicker here ,which I have found out. Last, but least, many people, including myself, have no problem walking down to the beach. You can go over the rocks or go the right and follow the road to the La Cachora beach access. Hopefully you found perfect accommodations elsewhere.
