Dairy Cottage, Newby, sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms.Dairy Cottage is in Newby, in the Eden District of Cumbria. The cottage sleeps four in two bedrooms, one double and one twin with a sloping wooden ceiling. Family first floor bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen with a small dining/seating area,Sitting room has large inglenook fireplace and exposed stone walls. Off-road parking for two cars,gravelled area offering furniture and a barbecue. Dairy Cottage is a perfect peaceful retreat for a small family looking to enjoy a holiday in the Penrith area.
Amenities: Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Storage heating and electric wood burn effect fire.
WiFi, DVD player, CD/radio, books and games. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent.

Why not visit the Rheged Discovery Centre in Penrith, or nearby Lowther Castle Gardens and Bird of Prey Centre? Ullswater, with frequent cruises from Pooley Bridge, is eight miles away or you may like to visit Appleby,famous for its annual horse fair and a stop on the famous Settle-Carlisle railway. This is an ideal holiday location.

“Lovely ideal for seeing Cumbria, lakes district and Yorkshire dales.”
The cottage was excellent , lovely decor comfortable beds and great chocolate cake on arrival. It had everything we needed warm and cosy and quiet and close to Penrith . Had a lovely holiday there
