Welcome to the CHI Centre!
CHI (Chinese for Energizing Life Force) stands for “Centre for Healthy and Happy Individuals”
Many Visitors have commented “I love the CHI Centre, it has such a Beautiful Energy” which Guests are welcome to come and Enjoy and Bask in.
Whether you are an Independent Traveller (we’ll look after you!), a Family (Kids love it here!), a Couple (we do get Honeymooners!), or want to come with a group of Friends (we accommodate up to 14 people), our aim is to make sure that you have a Wonderful Holiday, here with us and yours is to enjoy it to the max!
We offer Massage Therapies, Yoga and Tai Chi Sessions and Hopi Indian Ear Candle Treatments. If you want to loose weight, give up addictions, adopt a Healthier Lifestyle, Christy is a Health Educator and a couple of private sessions with her will put you on the right track. If it’s Counselling you need, Christy is a Highly Qualified Life Coach who helps people through difficult Life Changes. If you want Acupuncture, Homeopathy or Chiropractic Treatments, we can arrange it for you.
For those who want some Spiritual Uplifting, we offer Meditation Classes and Seasonal Ceremonies. In the Evening you can do Moon Bathing and Star Gazing, in the Garden on our Comfortable Lounge Beds or Hammocks.
We specialize in Vegetarian/Vegan Food. Our Speciality is our Full Vegan Breakfast (even our meat eaters enjoy it!).
Christy teaches Organic Gardening Classes as well as Plant based Cookery Classes. If you have a group of Friends who are interested, you can book and request your choice.
We are located 2 minutes from the best Beach in Barbados - Carlisle Bay, where you can snorkel in the shipwrecks or just sunbathe, walk & swim! Our beaches are amazing with white clean sand and turquoise crystal clear waters!!
The Property is set in 1 1/2 acres of beautiful organic tropical gardens where no toxic chemicals have been used for 26 years. We grow organic fruits, herbs and veggies.
Christy is also an Unique Artist and Crafts person. Her Amazing Artwork can be displayed around the house for sale-just ask her!

We try to think of everything but if there's something you need just ask and we will assist you however we can.
A reservation, whether by letter, e-mail, or telephone, is a legally binding contract. To protect against late cancellation and Guests not turning up, we are obliged to put the following policy into place.
If your booking with The Chi Centre is cancelled more than 60 days before your arrival date, no charge will be made.
If your booking with The Chi Centre is cancelled 30 days or less, before your arrival date, there is no refund!
No shows, late arrivals, reduction in the number of people in the group, and early departures are all non-refundable.
In the Event of a Guest arriving a day earlier, or wanting to leave a day or 2 later, if we have the room available we are happy to look after you!

Response from the owner what a pity you did not mention how we bent over backwards to accommodate you! We brought your booking forward as you had to cancel your other trip because of breaking your foot. We gave you a wheely office chair and took up the carpets so you could wheel around the apartment. We put a garden chair in the shower so you could sit down and bathe. When we took you on an island tour we got a wheel chair to push you around in! and Victor cycled to the shop every day to get your groceries for you! After already giving you a discount and upgrading you 2 times because the other apartments were not suitable to a broken foot, you still asked for more discount!! Strange that you didn't mention any of these things in your Review! All Apartments are equipped with cleaning tools, but should you require maid service this is extra. We do have a Safe in the Office where Guests can put their valuables should they desire. When the Ice Cream Van goes down the street, it may set off the local dogs, which lasts for less than 2 minutes then all is quiet again! Part of the charm of the Tropics, the Parrots in the garden, the hummingbirds flitting around, and at night the Crickets and Whistling Frogs are all a part of that Charm! I'm very sorry that you did not appreciate everything we did for you, but fortunately, our other Guests do!
