This Amazing “Real Log Cabin” is located about 3 miles from Helen GA. No expense was spared to create this spectacular log cabin experience, perched near the top of Yonah Mountain with breathtaking long – range views across the Blue Ridge Mountains off into the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee as far as the eye can see. Yonah Mountain has some of the best hiking trails in the North Georgia area, right outside the cabin, via our private access to the trailhead.
“Soaring Hawk” has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 8 (6 comfortably) people and features a spectacular Custom King size Log bed in the loft Master Suite with breathtaking views of the North Georgia Mountains as far as the eye can see, with a private bathroom with shower. This is a very special Log Cabin with beautiful antiques and western décor and one of a kind atmosphere. The Bedrooms contain custom Log furniture including a “4 Poster” log bed in one of the guest bedrooms. All bed linens are “Spa Grade”. There are ROKU TVs in every room to stream all your favorite app including Netflix, Hulu, Prime video, Paramount etc and UTUBE. We provide complimentary UTUBE TV to stream all the local channels etc. There is complimentary high-speed internet WIFI (230 mbps +), so the whole family can stream their favorite shows and sports.
When you enter the Cabin living space, you will see soaring ceilings and floor to ceiling glass walls to maximize the breathtaking views. There is a beautiful fireplace that has a gas Log fire.
The Kitchen with Breakfast Bar and stainless-steel appliances, has a granite countertop and unique custom bar stools, it has everything you will need to produce that very special meal for family and friends. There is also, by popular demand a Blackstone grill outside on the deck, close to the Hot Tub. There is a wood burning chimenea fire out on the back deck beside the hot tub also.
If you would like to experience this unique “Log Cabin” with its “Spectacular” long range mountain views, please look at our calendar as we do keep it up to date.
Pet Policy:
Dogs are welcome as long as their Flea and Tick prevention is up to date. The decks are fenced and gated so the dogs can run around outside. There is a $75.00 pet fee required (Maximum 2 dogs). Absolutely NO cats allowed.
NOTE: The Gas Fireplaces are available for use from September1st to June 1st. The outdoor Fire-Pit in the woods and the wood burning chimenea on the deck can be used all year round, we do not provide firewood, there is plenty to be found in the woods around the cabin. It is also available in most of the local stores and gas stations.
Note we have 3 cabins all next door to each other on Yonah Mountain, Soaring Hawk, Cloud 9 and Bald Eagle Lodge. Together all 3 cabins can sleep over 30 people and are perfect for large family gatherings or reunions or for people attending weddings in the area as they are close to most of the award-winning wineries and wedding venues in the area. Our Kids LOVE the tubing on the Hooch, in the summer time, in fact our whole family does. This summer the town of Helen is getting a new Mountain Roller Coaster, the one where the rider can control the speed thank goodness, so our whole family can ride it, we are all looking forward to this new addition to the area this summer.
