Description
A quick 10 mile/minute drive on a mostly four lane highway and you are at the West Glacier entrance to Glacier National Park to enjoy your adventure in paradise. Welcome to Glacier Lilac Lodge ~ a comfortable 2200 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2 bath home, located in Hungry Horse. The home is in a wooded, private, quiet area.
This split level home has six steps up to the kitchen, dining room, living room, and the master bedroom and bath. The floors have all been updated with faux wood laminate. The master bedroom has a new Sealy Posturepedic king size bed for a good night's rest. A full bath is right outside your bedroom door. From the front door entrance, go downstairs for your two bedrooms with queen beds on a Montana made log frames. A full bath is situated nearby. There is a recreational room with a TV and plenty of games. If you have teens or couples, it is nice as you each have your own space! The washer/dryer and laundry sink are downstairs.
Air conditioning unit in upper level keeps house nice and cool during those hot days (which there are not enough of!). The lower level stays cool on its own.
The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. Drink your morning coffee on your balcony. Beautiful Flathead River is nearby where you can easily walk to or drive, where you can throw in a fishing line and catch some dinner! BBQ on your deck and enjoy! Your view is of beautiful Columbia Mountain and the forest, yet you are conveniently located.
There is great cell service and internet. In the evenings, kick back and watch a movie on your 50" big screen TV. Netflix and a huge selection of DVD movies are provided.
Glacier International Airport (FCA) is only 12 miles from the home. There is a grocery store in Hungry Horse where you can buy your groceries; larger stores 7 miles away in Columbia Falls; Costco and Wall Mart are 20 miles away in Kalispell. There are restaurants and gas stations in town and on the way to the park or prepare your own delicious meals at your peaceful retreat in your own kitchen.
