Four bedrooms, all en suite, 5* rated by Visit England and Gold Award winner. Luxury accommodation near the Lake District. Visit England assessed as Families Friendly and Pet Friendly.

Lovely cast iron log burning fire - logs, kindling and firelighters provided also has a Weber charcoal grill with locally sourced charcoal provided.

Cazenovia Hall is a holiday home within the secluded grounds of the Grade I listed Blencowe Hall estate. It is situated 4 miles from the Lake District National Park border and about 7 miles from Ullswater. Close at hand is the Aira Force National Trust waterfall offering a great combination of a boulder strewn stream for young at heart to paddle in, a tea shop and a scenic walk up to the peak of Gowbarrow Fell. This waterfall drops down into Ullswater with extensive walks around the adjoining area.

The fantastic views over the Lakeland Hills and peaceful setting make Cazenovia Hall ideal for walkers or guests seeking a “get away from it all” location from which they can enjoy the Lake District and this part of the beautiful Eden Valley in Cumbria. Cazenovia Hall is dog friendly and there is plenty of room in the gardens for them to run around and excellent walks nearby. Cazenovia Hall is also Walkers Friendly and Cyclist Friendly

Cazenovia Hall is located a short drive from Penrith train station which is on the West Coast Main Line, the railway linking London to Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh & Glasgow. The nearby villages offer wonderful walks and cycle rides with beautiful scenery. Ullswater ‘Steamers’ is an award winning environmentally accredited Lake District attraction celebrating over 150 years of operating cruises on England’s most beautiful lake. Operating one of the largest heritage vessel fleets in the world, offering visitors an experience they will never forget for 363 days a year. Cruises connect to some of the most famous and iconic walking routes in the National Park, with views of Wordsworth's Daffodils on the west shore in Spring.

Around 2 weeks prior to arrival guests will receive a pre-arrival message which includes details regarding key collection. We also send our guests local information about 'what's on' in the area during their stay. Guests have sole occupancy of the property during their stay and our Manager is available by telephone at all times.

How do damage deposits work?

If Christine (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
